I'm a Pastafarian.
That's how I'll raise my kids.
I've never seen eye to eye with any of the major religions.
I was considering Judaism for a while, but I'd have a hard time finding a synagouge, so I'm a Pastafarian.
The 'bible' is fun, the religion is easy going, dogma is the only forbidden thing and best of all, equal importance is placed on pirates and pasta.
I'm fairly devout, as well. If things go well, I celebrate with some spaghetti, and if they don't... well, no matter.
It's a rare oddity, and I support my beliefs thoroughly.
RAmen.
Mind you, my faith isn't considered weird by my friends. One of my nearest and dearest is a Satanist, and two others are thinking of converting. They're great people though.

I'm agnostic. I don't think I will ever be a part of a religion though. I just wouldn't be able to stick with it - my ideas change all of the time, and if I didn't like one of the rules then it would turn me against the whole thing. I just do what I think is the right thing, and try and lead a good life.

Well, I'm a Catholic, but I'm more of a spiritual person rather than religious. I go back and forth, but who doesn't sometimes? It would be unnatural to question the whole matter of religion and faith... especially since it's faith.

Do you guys believe in an afterlife? What do you think it'd be like?

Being Christian I do believe in an afterlife, but I have absolutely no idea what it might be like.

I don't believe in either Heaven or Hell, or an afterlife at all. Mostly because no afterlife would be a dream come true for me.

I believe firmly in something beyond us that is making things that are too impossible to happen randomly happen. I don't think it is concious in the same sense as we so we can't really comprehend it...and yet I also believe it has a hell of a sense of humor.
I'm...back-and-firth Christian, sometimes I feel full of faith a belief and other times I feel rather un-convinced that a man was nailed to a cross so we could go to heaven.

I also know I am far too awesome to simply poof out when I die. I'm way too stubborn to just fade away,
if there's a hell, though, there's a 60% chance I'm going there...where I intend to take over,

If there's a Hell, there's no doubt I'm going there. I'll see you down there! ~_^

This is a question for those who believe in Hell and Heaven/God and Satan. It's a thinker. If you had a choice to go to hell to give everyone already there a pass to heaven and keep anyone else from every going to hell, would you?
My answer is no, because in my opinion if you're in Hell, you're either stupid enough to commit suicide, you deserve being there for ignoring God at the time of death, or you were unfortunate enough to not know God.
That sound quite harsh, but don't get me wrong. I have nothing against people who ignore God or don't know Him. I have lots of friends who don't know God and friends who know Him and completely ignore. I've also had 3 really close friends commit suicide, so I know how it feels to never see a good friend for the rest of eternity. I'm the type of person who tries to love everyone.....you know what I mean. I just try to be very nice to people no matter what.

In 'unfortunate enough not to know God' do you include people from other faiths? Hindus and buddhists and suchlike?

no, because I believe those are just different forms of God and he shows himself to people in different ways along with different ways of worshiping Him, if that makes any sense.

Ahh, the sensible view. I just thought I'd ask because I have a couple of christian friends who believe the only way to God is through Christianity, which is ridiculous because they might be totally devout and lived a saint's life but under that reasoning they'd go to Hell for being a shinto worshipper or something.
