Haha, maybe! The dubs of Gundam Wing are really good, they do really well with equivalent accents, which for me are one of the most important bits. My pet peeve is when someone hires 4kids to dub an anime that isn't for children. I mean, 4kids, as the name might imply, do things for KIDS, and they do their job REALLY well. They've completely slaughtered Tokyo Mew Mew already, not to mention Yu-Gi-Oh and some other older ones...

Thankfully, I've been spared from Tokyo Mew Mew. I've seen Pokemon and Yugioh though...but it is really fun to think about a parent buying the actual anime for their kid and watching what REALLY happens. >:-)
Of course, I can't totally complain. Pokemon and Yugioh first made me think, "Hey, maybe anime isn't really that bad...". So, they put my foot in the doorway, so I can't totally dis them. ^_^

Personally, I hate Miyazaki's artwork. Same here. I've seen a little of Howl's Moving Castle and quite frankly, the character designs creeped me out.

Huh, it's wierd being such an avid fan but I can see where you're coming from.
His stories are un-arguably amazing though.

Yeah, his movies are entertaining. But they're by no means my favorites. But for being released all over the world, they're good. ^_^

The character designs in Howl's Moving Castle were a little creepy, but quite similar to the way the characters are described in the book, which is nice.
I really wish I'd seen some full-length anime that wasn't Studio Ghibli, aside from them all I've seen are the films that go with Gindam Wing and Cowboy Bebop, plus a couple of weird sci-fi things like Appleseed.

Yeah, I've imported several anime movies from Japan, so that's probably why Miyazaki isn't all that impressive to me.

I think Miyazaki's great and all, but even a rabid fan like myself is forced to admit that Studio Ghibli is the Disney of Japan. I'd like to see the rest of the animated film industry, y'know? I'm hoping to get some for Christmas at least.

We need more animation studios... D:
Just today I remembered that I really enjoyed Titan AE. Guilty pleasure, as I have met soooo many people who wanted my eyes out for this statement. Then I watched Anastasia, which was done by the same gents who did Titan AE. And I liked it. The villain sings! Haven´t had one of those in, gosh, years!!! If you want to hear my opinion: villains who sing and have time to write songs with amiable rhymes = AWWW!!! But that´s just me.
Ghibli. I haven´t watched a lot of their movies... Howl´s Moving Castle was a feast for the eyes but I secretly prefer the book. Although the dog was just awesome! *_* Mononoke Hime. I always write Monononoke. Was a really great movie. Because I felt for the forest spirit and... it was so colourful and~ aww. Yes. I guess I like the movie very much...
Still have to watch Nausicaä. D:>

I don't think I know Titan AE...
Anastasia's eyes annoyed me, but the song Rasputin sings is my favourite part of the whole film, it's so fun!
I secretly slightly prefer the book of Howl's Moving Castle too...

See, singing villains are simply awesome. Her eyes? XD They reminded me or Ariel´s eyes... :u But lest I forget! Dimitri was voiced by John Cusack!! That in itself is awesome enough.

Have no idea what movie I like better... XD Titan AE surely had awesome scenes. It had a traitor, damnit! D: I love the traitor-roles in books/movies/comics. Or someone who can be called a traitor. I remember him shooting at the main characters. That´s pretty mean so I think I remember it correctly, him being a traitor that is. D:
Anastasia had the fantasy part... with green lights and sparks. I am a sucker for green lights and sparks and green in particular. °~°"
Anyone know another lovely animation movie?

The Prince of Egypt is awesome-o-saurus. It's the story of Moses, but it's much more entertaining as an animated film than it is in the bible. It holds the worlds record for the most expensive 2D animated film.

I've seen the Prince of Egypt! *waves arm around* The river turning to blood was my favorite part. And the songs.
