Yay, I can't wait! I haven't had a chance to get my mits on the Broken Sky series yet and I feel like I'm missing out on something important, so this is perfect for me.

So they really are being re-released? Oh, I am so happy if they are! I was just about to break down and search all of the e-bay world for someone's copies so I could read them.....

Are they being released in Australia? They were never released to start with over here! (and yet I got my mittons on all of them, and then two copies of one of the books).

Yep. For some reason UK & Australian/NZ book sales are linked in some crazy way I don't understand, so UK books pretty much automatically get released over there... or they make it over on book fairs. Can you tell that I don't know? But they ought to get to you via whatever arcane routes they take. ps Hi Anna! I remember you from back in the day pps I mean Anna-that-is-lisajane ppps it's faintly bizarre to be talking to some of the Parakka crowd like you and Vik seven years later or so! Bless you long-timers for sticking with me this far

I've noticed a lot of books get released at the same time with the UK and Australia. I got the first act via a book fair, but couldn't ever find the other books in the shops... course back then I don't believe we had Borders, so I shall search when they come back out.
Yes, me and Vik are still around. We've grown from insane, evil-character-loving teenagers to insane, evil-character-loving adults. I started reading Broken Sky again for the first time in several years last night... I forgot how big the font is.

Yay! I'm really looking forward to the new books(new art = <3). lol I want them!! Too bad you couldn't collect all the art and new art to compose into some sort of art book. ^^;
I first got a hold of book 6 of Broken Sky in my old Book warehouse(which doesn't exist any more. ;-; ) I think that's been about 5 years or so. In mid-late 06, before going to college, I kept my eyes on ebay and fought people before I finally got a hold of the entire set. ^^;; Took me quite a while, actually. I ended up with two copies of every book except book 5 and 7, oh, and I had 3 copies of book 1. XDD (Though one was in the first format).

It's very cool that the books are being re-released and with the old interior art, they've pretty much remained one of my favourite, if not my favourite series since I read them all those years ago as a child, and influenced not only my interest in Asia at a young age, but my art style, the sort of worlds I came up with in my mind when creating stories, etc. Sad there was never any other media format of Broken Sky Can't say I like the new covers though :x I think the old ones are vastly superior, to be honest. Hopefully I can introduce them to a few people now though, it was horrible going through all these years being the only person I knew who had actually read any of the books. Also whatever happened to that freewebs site that was shown in the front of the original mini-books? I remember searching for it about a year after they came out and never finding anything... Still got my Broken Sky poster though =D [/longpost]

Wow re-releases of Broken Sky! <3
I don't like the new covers very much since they seem very plain to me (same with Alaizabel and Poison books). They lack that anime style which drew me to the books in the first place. It's great that the old artwork inside the books is being kept the same but it seems the covers don't match the style ^.^;
