Are the books going to be re-released in the U.S.? ^ Same question. I'm anxious to know. I loved the BS books I got to read years back, but I was never able to finish the series (and the books are much harder to find now). Besides, I really like the "bigger book" format, especially since Chris originally meant BS to be a trilogy anyway, right? I suppose I'll have to find a way to import them, if they don't come to American shores.

I'm debating whether to buy it not... on one hand, it's a nice big book, and I like nice big books.
On the other hand, I already have the little books and I figure it'll cost me something about $40 - $50 AU dollars if I buy it from Amazon.Uk, after currency conversion and the payment of shipping half way around the world.

Becca also has the first act with the snazzy cover! Yippee! I'm about three-quarters of the way through too; I haven't been able to put it down! >_<

Though I do hate the new cover Ditto here. I think it looks too childish. It so seems I can buy it in Australia, or at least when it's published over here as the bookstore websites here are saying it's not published yet...

But it's a children's book, and the old covers looked really childish too.

Truth be told, I love Kanako Damerum´s and Yuzuru Takasaki´s artwork. It really looks great, dynamic and impressive. I wouldn´t go so far and call the covers (of either edition) childish because I find it difficult to justify this opinion... they look like comic-covers but that doesn´t mean they are childish. I´ve seen worse covers. XD Did that make sense? I dunno, I haven´t had enough tea; as in no tea at all.
But, I still don´t own the new edition. ;_;

Don't worry, it did make sense. It's also quite true, neother of the covers are really childish, I suppose I just mean childish as opposed to adult. I love the new cover except for the way they've drawn Kia's top, it doesn't look very good, I love the poses though.

Yeah, I meant as 'childish as opposed to adult'. And agreed, the old covers also looked childish, but they looked more manga-like... this one (as far as I can see on the internet screen) looks like it's been thrown together.

In person it looks a lot more professional. It's just a different style of manga to the one Steve Kyte uses.

The new cover is just... ugly, the other covers depicded great scenes etc from the book. The new cover to me just looks like very bad manga drawn by a kid (I hate the other manga reprints of chris's books). Just how it looks to me though.
