I brought it off Amazon. I decided I couldn't wait any longer.
I think it wound up costing me about $30 AU (for a 5 pound book...), which is what I probably would've wound up paying in an Australian bookshop anyway.

Bah, it's still not here yet. It has exactly two days to get to my house otherwise I'll go yell at Amazon (they said by 2nd November...)
Am heading down today to the local bookstore to see if they have the Fade (according to their site they do). Apparently they also have Broken Sky... but as non-fiction?

And after six weeks, and sending numerous emails to Amazon and having them send me another book (god knows where the first one went, they said I can keep it if it shows up), I have new Broken Sky. Yay!
But -
The print's so tiny... I have a hard enough time reading the old print. And where's all the other inside pictures?

That's cool, but Kia and Ryushi needed to be updated...

Kia looks a little like a girl from college in that picture. Strange...

It's a shame that they're the exact same designs on each cover, cool as those designs are.
Nice choice of quote, isn't it? It's kind of politely misleading...

Yeah, now that I think about it... people might think Kia and Ryushi lost everything and everyone dear to them and are now on a vengeance-trip. XD I wonder what pictures are on the back...

Ooh, not long until Act II now! I'm going to be down the town on the morning it's released too, yippee, so I'll be sprinting around to Waterstones for a copy.

They had a copy in Heffers when I went before Christmas, but since there was only one I didn't buy it, 'cause I wouldn't want to deprive a new reader of the greatness contained therein.

Much thumbed Twilight War now looks awkward next to the new and Waterstones fresh Communion.
Damn it, but I love these new covers so much. ^^;

My copy is currently at the bottom of a teetering tower of books that I set up for a still life. My theme is 'alternative self-portrait', we're supposed to be thinking of ways to represent ourselves that aren't a physical likeness, so I've made a stack of my favourite books. Such a mistake, the text on the spines is insanely difficult to copy.

Why don't you just use a few books then?
