I didn't realise; most everyone I know on the nets are not.
Anyways, I don't really have any desire to learn, so...

I didn't realise; most everyone I know on the nets are not. I read that as "most everyone I know on the nets are hot."....o.o imho (which isn't worth much) the people that didn't cosplay at MG stood out more than those and even though I got a terrible rash from sellotaping bandages to my leg I'm afraid I'll be dressing up again this year (I want to be Rinoa this time, no tape required) and will probably not be willing to pretend that I don't know any of you if I do run into you >P If anyone wants a lift from West London/Surrey/Oxford area I'd be happy to oblige though if it's roughly along the way and you don't mind me listening to nerdcore and nu metal occassionally (I'd like to add not solely) in the car. The sensible thing to do if we wanted to meet up would be to designate a spot (like around the cloakroom downstairs where it's quieter or something) and time. My train of thought just derailed, I'll return to this Mod: on the subject of publicity I made a whole two bookshelves at work with a little bio and lots of shelf talkers and faceouts for Chris in the recommends bay which was fun and looks verruh cool. I don't see why he's object to anyone dressing up as characters from his books...Personally I haven't been able to visualise any of the female ones clearly enough to make a recognisable costume but surely if someone wanted to and did so even badly if would be no more defamatory than a piece of art or fanfic that was 'bad', anyway 'bad' depends on your perspective.

Sorry, since two people have recently shared cosplay photos it seemed more likely that it was a serious suggestion. Even so, speculation should also include difficulties. No harm done Shy, just don't take everything so seriously, trust me, it makes life better

Nu metal rocks imho. I'm kind of a metal guy. But I like a lot of things, eclectic tastes ftw.
Anyway, I'm starting to think that I may seriously meet somebody from this site there. I'll be going on the Saturday, but I'll be with some friends so travel isn't really a problem. Anyway I live in the North of London.. So who else is going to be going? It would be the first time I'd ever mixed RL friends with internet friends, so hey, bring it on :3

Ohhh, if I had the money I would go in a heartbeat. I'd really enjoy meeting anyone from the Lanes. But I really don't have the money to fly overseas now. Plus, I'd need a lot more time to get a passport (6 months. >_<) to go anywhere.
