I got Storm Thief for my birthday, and I'm ashamed that it took me two days to finish it. Particularly as it's so un-put downable. So... more? I really want to find out what happened to Orokos. Possibly what happened to Rail and Moa as well. I love the whole 'probability storms' thing as well!

I would totally write fanfic, but it'd prolly turn into a Marty-Stu story and crap....or I'd change the characters too much. I kinda think it's cute when Rail is all caring and/or weak and stuff...like he's all strong and the leader usually but then he has this other side....<3 But maybe thats me messing him up I think I'm not confident is the problem....but maybe I could start something and you guys could help cause you're the best and I gotta go soon but hey what color are Moa's eyes? O.o

Green, I thought.
And yeah, I was really tempted to write a fic about finch and how the probability storm changed Orokos (for one, it would remove Finch's ghetto-tats, lucky him) And probably have it had revived Bane... -eyebrow wiggle- but then again, I never will....

Mmm...ending spoilers appear below? Don't want to ruin anything for anyone.
I thought the ending of the book set it up rather well for a sequel, what with leaving a character at the bottom of the ocean, and others sailing out to sea.

I thought so too, but at the same time it also works simply as a hopeful ending...

Oh, true true...Although I feel like there should...I don't know. It would be nice to hear of the characters again.

I dunno... a sequel might overdo it. I kind've liked the ending. Left room for thinking about the possibilities. ... I think Moa's eyes are green. That was my impression, at least.

...I had a dream about Storm Thief last night. It was really odd, where Moa and Rail where in the new world, which I always picture to be England, or America, for some strange reason.

It would work with or without a sequel. I personally think it's great the way it is. I don't want to know for sure what happens after they set sail.

I vote for no sequel, though I don't think I'd mind if there was one, if that makes sense. I just like stories ending where they do, and not being dragged out. A sequel wouldn't necessarily drag this book out, but any more than one more would probably make me a little upset. That's why I like to kill all of my characters off in my stories. That way, no one can bring them back and ruin what I wrote. ^_^

If there were a sequel, I imagine that it would be the story of them hitting land, which would turn out to be Orokos again (but they wouldn't know because it was changed by the probability storm).

Heh. Good point. Although I usually don't mean to kill them off...The stories write themselves that way. There's been only a few where I actually planned to kill off the main character, and one actually ended differently and the main lived. My stories have a mind of their own, obviously. ^_^

That's normal with us Americans. I started writing a book a couple months ago, but it will a years before I'm finished....if I get finished.
