BSky is hard to find all of Not for long! *Happy dances* ;D I still can't find Crashing or Kerosene (and Catchman was a lucky find in WHSmith one day). I know I should just buy a used one, but I'm fussy like that. I like shiny new books with their "new book smell" (yes, I know I'm weird, but The Braided Path smells nice).

Not at all, I too love the way new books smell. There's nothing quite like a new book, with its strange gluey smell and its uncreased spine...

Books smell great! After all, smell can trigger memories as well! And when I open The Haunting of Alaizabel Cray and smell it I remember the way I felt back in 2003 when I read it for the first time.
Books are great like that.

Me, I like the sound of opening a tightly bound book for the first time and you get that little cracking sound. And for a while, the pages will make that sound too until you read the book too many times and it loses it.
But that's my fav part of new books ^_^
Occassionaly, I do smell them as well. ^_^

Yay, I'm not the only one! It usually smells best on the really big books, paperback or hardback, like The Braided Path or Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I love books!
