There was some meteor activity (I don't care if it's the right word or not) just now/last night/on Monday 13th August and it was really visible from England.
My family and I all camped out on the trampoline and watched it for about two hours. It was lovely.
So I ask: have you ever seem meteors? What do you remember if you have? Do you regret it if you haven't?

I remember watching Hale Bob racing across the nightsky. So that was a pretty long time ago. Still, it looked amazing. And that was a comet not a meteor. But it was really pretty, sparkly and all that. I remember that my family and I had seen Hale Bob in Germany and when, a few days later, we flew to the Caribbean we had the luck to see him again. Yeah, we cheated somewhat... When I have the opportunity to watch stars I like to sit outside and watch´em. Sometimes I am lucky and actually spot a shooting star. Still, this summer´s not been very summer-ish. More like autumn or early spring. ;_; So I haven´t really done that this year. Or the last year, that is.

I was camping this weekend and didn't even know they would be out, but it was SO awesome, because a gorup of us were up until 3 am just watching the stars. Lovely, truly lovely.

I've never really seen anything in the sky. I've never been lucky enough to see a shooting star; I've never been allowed to be outside during an eclipse (or I was alseep during it); I've never seen a meteor or comet or anything of the sort. >_<

Only things I've seen are a couple meteor showers.

I really want to see a meteor shower, but the best I've seen is a shooting star.

I only seen shooting stars and an eclipse (which wasn't even that special. the moon just turned red-orange). I'd love to see a meteor shower.

I've seen an eclipse, but it was a long time ago.
I remember my dad fetching welding masks and trying to make a pinhole camera.

I've seen a solar eclipse and a lunar eclipse (twice), but never a meteor shower.

I haven't read Eclipse yet, so I don't know if you secretly gave anything away or not.
