I'm not sure if anyone has posted about this yet, but it appears that they haven't! I just wanted to know what you all thought about the movie. Personally, it was a LOT better than the fourth one... and Helena Bonham Carter was totally awesome! It was more consistent, and although they left out a lot of important things, all of the actors did a better job this time around. I guess if I had to rate it from one to ten, I would give it somewhere between a seven and an eight.

I have seen the 1st, par of the 2nd, the 3rd, part of the 4th, and the 5th. I have only read the first one. I'm not a big Harry Potter fan. I give the first book a 5/10 and I also give the new movie a 7/10.

The 5th film was definitely my favourite because it was the only one I actually liked! Helena Bonham Carter was fantastic and Evanna Lynch was amazing as Luna. Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson are still far from great, but they've made a big improvement and I wasn't cringing inside for once. Oh, plus I loved how funny the film was. ".............Obviously." I wouldn't say it's made it into my top films list, but I do like it a lot. I still prefer the books though - I used to be a massive fan, now I'm just a regular fan, but either way they're still great and I was queuing at midnight last night for my copy of the seventh one!

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to reading the book. Although I don't want to expect too much of it... whenever I set my expectations high things turn out to be a disappointment. That's probably one of the reasons why I ended up liking the fifth movie so much. I thought it was gonna be absolutely horrible. XD

Yeah, I know what you mean - my expectations were very low for the fifth film too.
I read Deathly Hallows yesterday and it is great, but then my expectations were low for that too after Half-Blood Prince (I just felt that it wasn't as good as the rest of the series).

I like this movie better than most of the others (Prisoner of Azkaban was pretty good, too). My favorite part was the music. Excellent combos of strings and percussion for the dramatic fight scenes. ^__^
There wasn't as much emotional investment in this movie, though. No deep sadness, extreme happiness, or nerve-racking fear for me. Just excitement because of the music and flashy colorful spells.
I'd give it 7.5/10.

I hate all things Harry Potter, but I keep up with them for conversation purposes. Otherwise, I'd never be able to talk to some of my friends about anything.
Anyways, I didn't like the movie, but it has been the best so far. Mostly because of Jason Isaacs and Helena Bonham Carter. I still believe Luna is Bellatrix's love-child. >:-)

(Prisoner of Azkaban was pretty good, too) Prisoner of Azkaban wasn't as bad as the others, but I was very annoyed at how much they missed out about the Marauders. What we learned about the Marauders in the book was really important to the story, but they completely skipped it in the film.

Yeah, the movie was nice for me becuase I didn';t like the 5 or 6 six books so I got to catch up on them without having to re-read them.
