Yes, well. The title says it all. At the moment I´m mightily obsessed with this TV-series. The new one from 2005 as I have not been able to find the other seasons anywhere. They do exist, I know that.
Anyway. Is there anyone among you who shares this interest? Anyone else who was on the verge of tears at the second season´s final? Anyone else who thinks Tennant looks like a hamster?
I cannot say whether I like Eccleston more. He was totally different. And definitely better in "being insane" than Tennant. Tennant is too... hamster-like to look evil and intimidating. Eccleston had this weird and insane grin. And he could be really furious. I want season 3.
And I want a Dalek for Christmas! :<

Oh my gosh! Dr Who is ingrained into the subconscious of EVERY Briton. That programme is 100% pure concentrated BRIT!!
As you may have guessed, I love it. With a passion. I actually didn't like Eccleston so much for the same reason as you did like him. I thought he made the Doctor a bit too dark. David Tennant is more of the whimsical Doctor.
I'm English so I'm watching the newest series at the moment (there was a new episode yesterday). David Tennant ended up with bare feet, it was sooo silly! I love it to pieces! And the low budget aliens, that's classic British telly...
But David Tennant does look a wee bit like a hamster, yes.

Ha, bare feet. I just watched it. XD I like the new cast. Freema is a really cool actress. Next episode is due April 7, if I´m not mistaken... Cannot wait. X3 Yes, British TV-series. With tea and all. I have to love it. Besides, the dialogues are just wonderful! And Tennant looked dashing in pyjamas, didn´t he? Oh, but the best thing about Tennant is that he played Barty Crouch Junior in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Back then when I watched the movie everybody declared me insane because I thought he looked really cute. What with Barty Crouch Jr. being deranged and all people didn´t share my thought. XD What I like most about Doctor Who: He´s odd.

He was cute as Barty Crouch Jr. Especially with that tongue thing he did! Plus, there is nothing wrong with being slightly deranged. It's cute.
I loved his little radiation dance! Hopping around trying to get radiation out of his foot XD And how the new assistant said he was a lunatic and he said "You're right, I'll look daft with one shoe." and took off the other one! You wonder if he knows he looks insane or if it doesn't occur to him that humans don't usually hop around putting x-rays in their left shoe.

That´s beyond him. But that´s why we love him so much, isn´t it? :> Because he´s silly, odd and peculiar. I like his style. His clothes are just cool. And when he wears his glasses to read something = cute. X3 But each Doctor has a great style. I still have to watch, sigh, ~31 seasons of Doctor Who. Let´s say, since 1963. I know what I´ll do after passing my final exams this year. XD Bwahahaha.

So true. My favourite Doctor so far has to be Tom Baker though, with his scarf and his jelly babies and his melancholy voice...
Not as adorably lanky as David Tennant though.

I luffed Eccleston. Tennant just doesn't compare, in my book.
Then again, my friend got cross when I mentioned that I think Freema makes a better companion then Billie ever did. : D
(Yeah, I've only seen the new series...)

...Doctor Who kicks-bum. My friend and I want to go to England and play the sound recording of the TARDIS in random places to see what people'll do. (We're just a bunch of huge nerds...) She's seen the Dr. Who movie like 16 times, and I'm so jellious.

The TARDIS-sound is adorable! I always grin when I hear it. So eh, I changed some soundeffects on my pc. My rubbish bin says "Exterminate!" and when Windows starts you can hear the TARDIS-sound.
Ehem...
What I find somewhat sad is that there are so many episodes missing. Those featuring Hartnell and Troughton. D: Well, they´d probably be blurry anyway and really really grainy and stuff but... damn. I´d like to watch´em.

I used to have the TARDIS noise on my pc for when it shut down.
Thinking of things that say "exterminate!" does anyone else think the daleks were much scarier before they could talk properly and fly and such?

I only know´em talking and flying.
There was a time when they couldn´t talk properly? I really need to watch the earlier stuff... ._.

Ahhh, there was once a time when daleks could only move on their wheels and all they did was follow you saying "exterminate! exterminate! exterminate!" and if you were in range they killed you and if you weren't they chased you until you were and killed you.
Aside from their big weakness (inability to climb stairs) they were much, much scarier.

...Hn... good idea, putting the "Exterminate" when you empty the recycling bin. I've got the TARDIS sound going off every time I turn on or shut down my computer, and I've named it the TARDIS. <3

My friend only went on our school trip today so that she could see the Dalek in the BBC tent. xD
They're huge in person! Taller then me! (But I'm short)
I can't wait for tomorrows episode. The BBC cancelled last week's for Eurovision (Ukraine were so great! Who's with me?) and I missed my Who-fix. D:

Aww! I don't get BBC, so I have to make due with SciFi channel, which is great, when they're not trying to push their movies... (And if you've ever seen one, you'll know what I mean..)
