Hiya! *waves* I'm a little useless, as I've already started posting my poems before I came and said hi here. Better late than never I guess. My name is Holly, I live in a tiny little place called the Wirral, in the Northwest of England, and I'm 15 for another 10 days. Woo! But I'm serious, the wirral is what I call the appendix of England because: hardly anyone knows where it is, and even fewer people care. Anyway, I'm also known as badwolf, or Sake-kun, cos that's my boyfriend's nickname for me. I love Doctor Who and Twilight, and of course the AMAZING books by Chris Wooding. They blow me away. Favourite is either The Haunting of Alizabelle Cray, or Storm Theif. Brilliant. So yeah, please read and comment my poems, I might end up posting my fics at some point too. Enjoy!

It's always good to be eager! But of course, now you get the traditional welcome tea! Well, I don't have the tea, but I can offer you a selection of traditional welcome cakes! *offers cake*
I'm re-reading Storm Theif at the moment. I've read about 3-5 chapters and I think I'm enjoying it more than last time! strange.
I uh... do you know much Japanese? Because the ~kun honorific is used for boys...

The honorific -kun is usually used for boys. Lots of people use it for girls too, especially is the girl is tomboyish or has a gender-neutral name. It's just less cutesy than -chan.
Aww, Raihor, why didn't you bring tea? I will supply the tea instead! *gives tea* welcome to the forum!

I often call my girlfriend "-kun". It suits her a lot better than "-chan" or some of the other honorifics.
Anyways, though you've already been welcomed in the writing thread, I'll still welcome you here. Welcome! Have some candy! *offers a wide assortment of candy*

Oh I didn't know that. I only went to a few lessons, and then stuff I pick up in translation notes in mangas... I really wish I could go to Japan. There's only one person I give a japanese honourific, we call him ~chan because he's a pain in the rear end, and small.

Wow, hiya everyone. I'm gonna get fat off all the cakes and sweets. Oh well, never mind. I'll burn them all off thinking hard in my mock GCSEs today. ... *screams* mock Exams today!!! *dead faint* ...sometime later... Woah sorry about that. Yeah I used to be called Sake-chan, and my friend Sam(girl) still calls me that, but my boyfriend wanted to call me -Kun cos he said it was more a term of endearment, while chan was a friendly term. So I call him my Raion-kun, cos he's my manc lion (life on Mars for win.) Yeah I re-read Storm Thief a little while ago. I love Moa to bits. And even if he is a bit of a *bad word* I love Vago as well. I did some drawings from the books and posted them on my DA account, if you wanna check them out (shameless plug, I know, but ... you know...) Hiya shyviolet, first time I've talked with you. Hallo!

Hallooo!! I'm afraid I don't look at the writing thread very much, reading from a computer screen hurts my eyes a lot and I find it hard to keep track of which line I'm on. What can I say, I'm like some kind of genetic luddite. I do hang about on the art threads though, you're more likely to see me there.

-chan and -kun are both terms of endearment, -kun being boyish and -chan being girly and cute. Both work I guess. But if I endear somebody female, i'd call them -chan.

I don't mind what he calls me, it makes him happy calling me -kun, and I know he means it in a close way, so you know. When I can only see him once a week and he lived an hour and a half away from me, I'm not really gonna complain about what he calls me in texts.
I don't know how to post pictures on the art forum... I would if I could. Oh an thanks for commenting my squirrel picture. Mucho appreciated.

Upload to a website such as imageshack.us, and then copy and paste the 'for forums' code. Or if they are on deviantART it's more technical: go to the art, click the download link to display the picture alone. Then copy the URL. Then in your post you write (paste the URL)[/ img] (only without the space)
