Hii Uhm where to begin, maybe a short introduction. My name's Stephen. (As guessed by username xD) It's like Steven just without the V, because I get annoyed when people start calling me Stefan. aha. I'm in my teens. I'm from a lovely sunny place called Scotland in the UK. It's not that bad.. and please note that we are not all ginger, wear kilts, have haggis all the time and the woman are scary. Maybe that last part is true... im joking Lol. No its actually quite a nice place :] The first book I read by Chris Wooding was The Haunting Of Alaizabel Cray which was amazing so I decided to venture out and find more of his books and then I returned with Poison which was just as good. After that I read Storm Thief and The Fade. (amazing still) And at the moment I'm on The Braided Path, just finished The Weavers Of Saramyr (wow) and now onto The Skein Of Lament. So yes, quite a few xD.. and they were all amazing and I need to find time to read them again xD ;D I've got a habit of starting to read something then drifting on to something else at the same time but you know. I love listening to loads of different types of music, love films (The Dark Knight Amazinggg) I watch some tv but mainly only for the long series you get such as.. Lost, Heroes, Prison Break, Started to watch that new thing called Fringe. They're all actually amazingly good xD Ohoh I also love Comic Books (Watchmen, Batman Comics, Umbrella Academy, etc) Ohoh! And anime/manga stuff Ive just noticed this short introduction is getting quiet long, dont want an essay now! haha xD so yeah I really love lots of different stuff xD But the best thing ever is Tea. I just love Tea so much [: Basically thats everything I could write alot more but I shan't. xD Thank you. x

Welcome to the forum. I see you were already given a welcome-tea so... have some cookies to go with the tea.
Which reminds me that I should probably go make some tea now... haven't had some for at least three hours.

Oh, that's miserable. My friends have told me so many horror stories about tonsil removal, I'm very glad mine have never given me any trouble. Fun fact; my mum only has one tonsil! She had them removed but they didn't cauterise one properly and it grew back.
Darn, my family all live around Aberdeen. I've never been to many other places in Scotland because of that.

Howdy and welcome, Stephen! *Hands over a plate of cakes* Yay to you being from Scotland! I love Scotland. When we were visiting Glasgow and Edinburgh universities in June, a friend and I were very amused by the fact that there's a big sign saying "Welcome to Scotland" when you're driving over the border, but when you're driving back all you get is a tiny sign saying "Border in one mile". ;D And glad to hear you're feeling better after your tonsillectomy . I had my tonsils removed when I was about five or six and ended up throwing up blood afterwards (<-- hidden for the sake of those who may be squeamish). Not fun at all! Plus I was told you were allowed to eat as much ice-cream as you wanted. Lies! All I got was one tiny tub . Hehe. Anyway, hope you enjoy it here, Stephen!

shyviolet, that fact is quite worrying, aha. I hope that doesnt happen to me. And I have relatives that are from Aberdeen too, its quite a nice place. You should try visit some of the other nice places. Becca, yay xD Scotlandd. aha I don't think I've ever noticed the signs.. I might have fallen asleep or my memory fails me once again ;D And I know they lie! I've only had one bowl so far, everyone kept saying to me.. you'll get loads of ice-cream. Lies is what that is. Haha Thank you :]

Welcome! My brother's name is Stephen too (as we say, 'with a PH')
I feel for you - I had my tonsils taken out last year (due to complications in surgery, I'm the only one I know who had a simple fifteen minute surgery turn into TWO AND A HALF HOURS due to my tonsils exploding <- also hidden from the squeamish. I couldn't eat normal food for three weeks.
I got loads of ice cream though, and jelly (I can't touch jelly now). I wouldn't think you can drink tea cause I got told to stay away from warm or hot liquids cause it can bother the blood vessels. But if you're hungry I'd suggest breakfast drinks, they're good.

It hasn't played up again since, I just find it funny that it grew back. Now I come to think of it I have no idea why it seems so funny, it just makes me laugh...
My dad hates the weather here so unfortunately the only places I've been in the UK are places where there are relatives to visit. We're always going to France or Greece or Italy on holidays, I hate it. I don't have to go anymore because now I'm at university it's harder to organise, but it means I've been almost nowhere in the british isles. I envy people who complain about lame family holidays to Scotland and Wales, I think the countryside on this tiny island is so beautiful.

Wow, I apparently missed a bit. Welcome to the forums! Unfortunately, I have never left the US, but my cousin visited Scotland and luved it and is planning on moving there. Personally, I'd want to live in London, but, really, anywhere in the UK works for me. ^_^ And, because everyone here has been talking about ice cream... *offers big tubs of ice cream to everyone* Wheeee~!

Shy, its true but really it just depends on what kind of person you are. I'm quite adventerous so I'm hoping to go travelling to lots of exciting and different places Zemira, aww that's a shame and he wants to move to Scotland? I want to get away from here, aha. Maybe it just attracts some people. I'd like to live in London too, but I'm really hoping to go to New York But you know, I'll just have to see what happens [: And since everyone is giving out stuff I shall give out some traditional scottish Irn-Bru! .. *hands out cans of Irn-Bru*

I really want to travel as well, but I don't want to go on my own and I'd like to see more of my own country before I do. I think I was just born in the right place, I want to see other places but I know I'll end up back here when I'm done.

Shy, I agree about the countryside here being beautiful. It's definitely the thing I like the most about England. I much prefer our caravanning holidays in the Lake District to going abroad and simply sitting on a beach all day.

Yeah, that's the other thing, I find beaches so boring! I've never been much of a sunbather and there's only so long one can spend swimming in the sea. There isn't even any driftwood to make sculptures out of on most beaches where we go on holiday (they tend to be resort beaches because we go to places like Sunsail hotels) because they clean the beaches so much. All I do is read, and there are many more comfortable places to do that than a beach.
