Hi everyone! I've FINALLY finished The Braided Path trilogy. I started it yeeeeears ago, pre-ordered The Skein of Lament (in an actual shop, wow) then went to college and kind of forgot it. I finished it, but The Ascendancy Veil wasn't out then and I let it lapse. Then I got all back into books lately and ordered a pile of them off Amazon and had to start the WHOLE trilogy again, coz I'd forgotten everything (except the blood running from Tsata's arm into Kaiku's hand)... And WHAT a trilogy. It was SO good. I want to see the film. Actually I'd love to see some art. I CANNOT draw to save my life, which disgusts me, but I would really really LOVE to see some interpretations of the series and they are SO rare it's tragic. ...there's an ad at the top of my page offering to teach me "how to write sex scenes"... Uh, thanks, but no thanks... ANYWAY, hello hello and please direct me in the direction of any more tBP internets stuff! Thanks!

Well hello!!! Welcome to the forum! No surprise there, that whole passage was awesome and cute. :3 Sadly TBP-stuff is frightingly rare... there are some drawings on deviantart.com. But only two or so. I got kinda frustrated drawing the TBP-characters because I couldn't figure out how Tsata's tattoos looked like and that really annoyed me to no end because he's my favourite character... Boo. XD If you have any questions concerning the forum or anything else feel free to ask. Enjoy your stay~!

Hello! Yeah, TBP stuff is rare, but I can understand why. There's so much detail anyone would have to draw...I imagine it would drive any artist nuts trying to recreate certain characters (including Tsata, poor guy, lol).

Heya! When I read the trilogy I really wanted to create some pictures (non-manga, too!) but I didn't have the time at all. And now I would have to read them again to get into the mood and for the inspiration. Argh! I'm also a bit disappointed there is so little art out there. Well, maybe I'll get around to it. One day.

+bookmark Sorry, I completely lost the address for this forum. Hi all!!!! *waves* ;D TBP was fantastic. When I looked at CW's site and he was like "I was fed up of goblins and wanted to do something new with the fantasy genre" (please forgive paraphrasing) HE WASN'T LYING. They're great books. Even though it's not exactly great for CW, I also like that the readership is ... exclusive. But it is a pity the usual fanworks are so rare (go Maliris! and others! lol). I love what I see in my head, but I also love pictures, even if it's only for the selfishness of using them for my desktop. ;D So, I'm going to read something lighter for a while, then maybe I'll tackle some more CW!!! I didn't realise he was so ... prolific! So in the meantime, hello hello and here's a blue sheep. uk.news.yahoo.com/pressass/20080924/img/puk-1222274644-uk-news-8-pr-500f48856579.html Silly farmer.

I am horribly late, but welcome anyway! I don't know about anyone else, but I don't do much Braided Path art because it seems too serious for manga style and my semi-realism style isn't really good enough to tackle most of the designs yet. I feel really lame now.
