Lo! Sorry for long absence, everybody! I've been slaving away on the newie and sorting out moving back down to London. Hi Alex! As others have pointed out, The Fade is the only other adult book as yet; however, I'm intending to concentrate more on adult books from now on, so they should come a bit more rapidly now. To clear up: MALICE comes out Feb 09, it's YA. In fact it's probably more YA in tone than Alaizabel, Broken Sky, Poison etc, which I always felt balanced uneasily on the cusp of YA and adult and didn't know which they were. Although it is nice and super dark, so that ought to keep everyone happy MALICE is the start of a sequence... how long I'm not saying yet cos it's a secret ;D The as-yet-untitled SF/fantasy adult novel I'm writing now comes out April/May 09 as long as I hit my deadline, which I should do easily enough. Details on that later. It's the first of a series of standalones (if that makes sense) ie, separate adventures starring the same characters and set in the same world. There'll be at least two, probably three, and maybe more. We'll see... Incidentally, if all goes well then you'll be seeing the sequels to both books appearing roughly the same time in 2010, assuming I can keep up with the workload!

Yay, Chris is back! I am said about the slowing down of the YA books, I like them... but my tastes could change, and the adult books are just as awesome. Curse him for raising the bar for us all!

I cannot wait! Dunno why, but lately I find this concept very appealing and entertaining. Welcome back to the board. And to England.

Me too, I like stand-alones. It means if you don't quite remember the details of the previous one it doesn't confuse you, but you get to see the world and characters you like again. Like the Discworld novels (although really I'm not keen on those).

Yeah, I really am excited about that...I like those better than sequels and triologies anyways, so this is exciting news! Is it 2009 yet?

Yes, 2008 will be bleak indeed. T_T
Wonder how we are to pass the time until April/May 2009...

Well, for those of us in England it'll be passed with new Doctor Who and re-runs of Jonathan Creek.

Wahay, you lucky people! T_T
And apart from that you get all the nifty telly shows such as State of Play, Spaced, Black Books and Life on Mars. All we get is the American shows. Because they seem to sell better. Don´t ask me why. Probably easier to translate...

Heroes isn´t my cup of tea... I watched it but don´t share the enthusiasm about it. Making fun of it, though, is much fun. Let´s say... we have... Stargate Atlantis.

I find it hilarious that the creator thinks he was being really original. He thought all superheroes were smiley and boyscoutish like Superman! I watched it for Isaac Mendez, he was sooooo pretty.
Hmm, a new stage in human evolution who aren't happy about having powers. X-Men, anyone?

I watched it because of Mohinder, the lizard. |:3

I kept hoping Mohinder the lizard would show up again, but I think he was just in a couple of episodes...
