Chris clearly left the ending of The Ascendency Veil pretty much open for the possibility of sequels. Even if they are set several hundred years later it would still work. There is still a lot of real potential for Samaryr and the other lands... just as long as he doesn't do a Terry Brooks and drag out for over 12 books... and still going.
Does anybody know if Saramyr sequels are planned for the future?
TBP excellent by the way

I don't think he has any planned, and he doesn't seem to be too into random, unplanned sequals. If you want a definitive answer you should ask him directly on the 'annoy your author with questions' thread. There's a bit of a backlog, but he tends to come on sporadicaly and answer them all in one go, so you should get a reply.

Yeah, and he mentioned before that while he has thought about making sort of compainion-books for his previous works, he prefers to make up new stuff. So, probably not very likely. But yeah, you might as well ask. ^_^ Can't hurt. ^_^

I'm with him. I like open-ended stories cuase the leave the reader still out of breath. And sequels for the sake of it are awful.
but if he made a really good planned one, I would be the last person to complain. XD
