Okay guys, help me out. So I have to come up with new sub-titles for Broken Sky Act 2 & 3. The first was called BROKEN SKY ACT 1: THE TWILIGHT WAR. At the mo the best I have for the others is : BROKEN SKY ACT 2: COMMUNION (off the whole Koth Taraan, KT / Keriags thing, various alliances etc) and BROKEN SKY ACT 3: UNITY. Quite like Communion but not too hot on Unity; however I can't immediately think of anything better. Suggestions plz! You too can ownz a little piece of Broken Sky

Communion is good, I think the last one needs to be two words with no 'the' because if two are the same the odd one out will sound very strange.
How about:
BROKEN SKY ACT 3: INEVASIBLE FATE
'Cause of all the revelations about the Deliverers and why they give people stones etc.

Hmmm, I kinda like Unity, although I think it needs to be longer.
Perhaps something like: THE NETHERFANE REVELATION or THE UNIFIED REVOLUTION

I vote for Communion.
As for the third part, why not use a word that´s actually used in the last book? If I remember correctly they later called the war "The Integration War". I think the last book needs a title that´s grand enough to emphasise the fact that it´s the last book. Well, Unity is actually quite strong... and wouldn´t be so clishé-ish as "war".
And it´s true what shy says, Communion would sound a bit odd between the two "Thes" and "Wars".
Will have to think about it.

The End Of The Beginning, for book #3.
I just like the sound of that.
Maybe, for #2, The Communion Revelation or something? I kinda like 'The''s in title names...

i like the title for teh second one, as for the third i think it should be something liek "End Song" or "Swan Song" letting readers know this is the end but also not really giving enything away you know?
Also, Mr. Wooding, or Chris? whichever you prefer. You're probably the greatest influence i've had in my writing (specifically from broken sky). Unfortunatly this is the only way i can communicate with you right now. :\ But the thing is i look to persue a career in writing, i'm writing a novel called Fallen Sun (name comes from the fallen sun tribe on Os Daker(sp?)) I was wondering if possibly i could e-mail what i have so far and you could find the time look it over and give me pointers on how to improve it and stuff liek that. Like Broken Sky it's highly influenced by anime and i've had my friend Jeff Swartout draw all the characters for me (they are amazing drawings). If you'd rather not gvie away your e-mail i could post it on teh forums here and you could look at it through that wayy. I know you probably used to get stuff like this all the time and that's why you don't give any contact info away. Again i'm sorry for bothering you, and trying to contact you like this. If you are indeed too busy i will understand.
Thnx for letting us help you with your book titles it is indeed an honor.
[!!m0n0lith!!]
P.S. - Falen Sun is in no way a fan fic or related to Broken Sky, it is an original work by myself.

Okay, so we've gone with COMMUNION for Act 2 but Act 3 is still undecided... guess we've got a couple of months to work it out so keep throwing in suggestions if you come up with anything. In sucky news, the new eds of BSky won't have any of the Steve Kyte illustrations in. After hunting for him for a month to secure permission to use his art in the new editions we've established that some kind of reality blip has erased him and everyone who knows him from existence. However, just in case he comes back with a lawyer from the Other Side, we can't use his pictures. Which bites M0n0lith, thanks for your kind comments. The reason I don't put contact info up (well, one of them) is that I just don't have time to deal with the volume of email communication I get when I do. It just takes me forever to respond to people and then everyone gets annoyed etc etc. Likewise, if you sent me your book you'd probably have it published and be writing the fourth in the series by the time I got back to you. Sorry Why don't you post what you have up here (or link to it, anyway) and let everyone have a look? Their comments are just as valid as mine: we're all readers, after all. Or if you want structured criticism there's a lot of online fiction sites for that kind of thing, writing workshops and local groups, etc. Or if you're really serious there's www.critters.org and similar sites.

So... if all the old pictures wont be in the re-release... what pictures will replace them?

No pictures at all? Couldn't you just....even if you couldn't get a new artist, couldn't you hold a contest for fans to submit drawings?

However, just in case he comes back with a lawyer from the Other Side, we can't use his pictures. Which bites . Oh nooo! Aww, so what's happening about pictures in the book?? I don't want to miss out on the pictures! *Cries* Why don't you post what you have up here (or link to it, anyway) and let everyone have a look? Their comments are just as valid as mine: we're all readers, after all. Wow, I know that was to help m0n0lith, but it's useful to me too, so thanks! That critters site looks good, though I don't know if I'd be able to write critiques myself. I'm not very good at that sort of thing.

None of the original illustrations? Dang... If only Steve hadn't dissapeared off the face of the planet...
