We had Monday off. It was called Learning Improvement Day. Teachers work, we don't (yippy!). AND IT SNOWED. Why couldn't it snow on a day that we would normally have school?!?! Now the weather is normal Seattle-y.

Well, when I woke up yesterday, very small sknowflakes were drifting down. But nothing worth mentioning. It´s just cold at the moment.
People told me that normally, Munich´d be covered with snow around this time of year. But not this year. Damn you global warming! XD

It snowed a lot today, but not much of it actually settled. I did get a shock when I went upstairs, however, because it had all stuck to the front windows and made it look like we'd been buried by an avalanche or something. Creepy, but cool.
Most of it has melted now, but I think we're supposed to be getting more over the weekend.

it was pretty cold this morning, but no snow (southern canada, btw). at around first period though (around 9, i reckon?) yea, it started snowing up a storm! @_@ it's been snowing steadily since then...so it's been, what, almost seven hours now? XD the snow itself is pretty light, but there's a ton of it. it's REALLY windy too.

it was snowing on and off all day here in Belfast, but didn't land (in fact, I was able to have a driving lesson with no problem at all), then it suddenly started to build up around 9 pm.
It's sort of weird that the weather is so similar in so many different parts of the world! Or maybe it isn't. Hmm...

Here... it is hot, sunny, and I had to almost peel myself off my car seat after driving around for a stupidly long time in the heat. Welcome to summer on the other side of the world. I've never seen real snow

I've never seen real snow Aww! Well, if it makes you feel better, all of the rain today has washed the snow away.

Rain washes away snow? Weird, I thought rain would freeze it more...
Snow doesn't look all that great on tv. Mostly people getting their cars stuck in it.

Snow is a menace. Wind is a menace when it's cold. Thunderstorms are amazing to watch and experience.

I had a snow day on Thurs and Fri. From work, no less. That's rare.
Snow is the most beautiful thing I can think of. It is like my favorite aspect of nature. If people are stupid enough to drive in it, then it's their own fault.
And, snow melts very easily, and since rain water is warmer than snow, it will wash away the snow. >_<

For some strange reason I thought rain water was like really cold... it rains here and it's not really cold...
The closest we have ever gotten to snow was when it 'snowed' on Christmas Day a couple years ago, opened the front door for what was supposed to be a really hot day, and found just piles and piles of what I supposed would be slush. Dad and I scooped it up and threw it all over the carpet inside. Mum wasn't too happy about that...

We were forcast to have light snow, but instead had a 2-minute shower of torrential rain. Curse our temperate climate! I love snow.

I used to hate it, but that was because I had to walk down banks to get to and from school and it could get pretty slippy. That, and I didn't like getting pelted with snowballs of random charvas/chavs/whatever you want to call them. Not fun. Now I really love snow! So pretty. The closest we have ever gotten to snow was when it 'snowed' on Christmas Day a couple years ago, opened the front door for what was supposed to be a really hot day, and found just piles and piles of what I supposed would be slush.
