hey all!
a friend of mine got a whole bunch of books like 10 years ago and after borrowing some of them i became a huge fan of all the chris wooding books, especially the broken sky series.
now ive begun collecting all the books myself but i just cant seem to get a hold of this perticular series. ive understood that they were somehow reprinted as a triology instead of the original 9 books but i haven't been able to find the names of them anywhere and searching for broken sky on the webs or in bookstores does not yield me any results, other than being sold out...
so I'm REALLY hoping there is still some way of getting a hold of these books and if anyone's got any advice its much appreciated:)
a good start would be the name of the 3 books

Does Play.com ship to the US? I really want to read these again but I'm having a hell of a time finding them.
*EDIT* Never mind I just picked up the other 2 off Ebay.

its not pretty but at least i got them:P I don't think anyone's collection of Chris' books looks pretty because of all the different versions... I know my BSky books are all over the place - first act are the original nine little books, second act are the three books American version, third act are the three books British version... and then the three reprints. I remember seeing the British version of Part six online before... though I think I brought the American version beacuse it was cheaper. And faster shipping.

I ended up HAVING to get the trilogy version, through multiple sources. ironically, the first one I ever read was the sixth volume, and I remembered it while I was whittling away the time in my cot before it was my turn to call my family. I went nuts having the family look for it, they couldn't find it, and no one had any of the volumes in stock anywhere.
And now, after a couple weeks of searching, I managed to snag the trilogy. Ended up paying WAY more than I probably should have for the second volume, but it was the only one I could find and NEW, not used.
Has anyone ever considered a petition or just a request to Chris to possibly create e-book versions of the series?

I think it would be more up to Scholastic to create e-book versions.

I have a strange feeling they are not going to do that.

I'm going to do my best to get BSky ebookified sometime in the future, as I don't want it to slip out of print and get lost in the mists of time. Will let you know when anything concrete develops...

I keep seeing stuff about books 9 and what not. I'm from the US and I've only seen books 1-7 are you telling me there are more? I know books 1-6 are pretty thin but 7 is like two or three normal volumes in one book. Are there more books than I was aware of or is this how they were published in the States?
