This is where you write up any potential flaws about Havoc (there isn't much mind you!) I'll start the thread off: When he killed off the monster at grizzle mill couldn't anyone with a black ticket go to Grizzle mill and just walk out instead of going to the really dangerous places to get white tickets. They would still have their memory intact too because when they came back out of the deadhouse into the factory they still remembered everything. That's something to think about, eh?

Forgive me, I don't actually remember the book all that well, despite having written it But: Yes, they could go to Gristle Mill on a black ticket (assuming they knew about it: Seth didn't necessarily think of it himself, so he may not have told them), but they might still lose their memory. Didn't Seth & co get sent back to the real world by the Lack? She used her magic to make sure they wouldn't have their memory blanked.
The whole reason they could get into Malice through Gristle Mill was because Malice was leaking into the real world through Tall Jake's power, because more and more kids believed in him. But now that Tall Jake's been destroyed, and the comic isn't being made any more, the holes between the worlds might well seal up. Of course, whether they do or not is another story... ;D

Ha! I've got you this time! ;D But really I think your books are great, I read Malice, Havoc and The Storm Thief... waiting for the three of the Ketty Jay series to come in the post. I'm not saying that Havoc wasn't good either I think it was the best book. I just picked this bit out to start a thread. lol P.S. Have you ever read any books by Tom Becker. You Should Really read the book Darkside.

Haha, fair enough. Okay, they could get out through Gristle Mill on a black ticket... But only if the passing-places between the worlds still work after Tall Jake is gone. And only I know if that would happen, and I'm not telling, cos if they ever let me write a 3rd book in that series that would be an important part of it.

That's something to think about, eh? that wouldn't work because it was only as tall jake was gaining power and allowing malice to seep into the real world would the people on earth start to realize something was off no one in malice would get on the track and walk on them with the possibility of being run over by that hell train
