How did you all feel about the very end when we find out that Poison essentially wrote Poison?
To be honest, I found it incredible, it felt like the entire book had gone full-circle, like it was the perfect ending, and immensely satisfied.
The end also shows what an incredible author Chris is, because he would have had to get into Poison's mind and think about she would write her own story from the third person.

I totally loved the ending! It was so dramatic with her nearly dying! And anyway, the book had so well placed plot twists, I was always surprised. What I also liked was the fact that the book really managed to be over with the last sentence. Of course, I´m sure Poison will embark on new adventures (or write them, that is...) but as the book "Poison" was written by her, well, the book was over when this adventure was over... Cannot explain it... It was a good ending for this book. The supporting characters were happy, Poison had found her place in the world and the evil guys got what they deserved. Anyone agree when I say that the faery-lord´s death was totally creepy? I nearly yelled at Poison: "Don´t drink that wiiiiiiine!!" *shudders* Amazing spider-queen as well. She rocked! °3°~

Oh yeah! The spider queen was soooo kick-ass. Trully a chiling end. (maybe this is why I've become more afrais of spiders lately?)
I thought the end was cool, and unlike some books this one made sense for to have written it and all, so yeah, I liked it a lot.

The only problem with the ending was that it was the ending! And that i'd have to go and find another book to obsessively read for a few days!

I totally luved this book, but I have to say, that I knew it was coming...I knew that the girl Poison had passed was her sister returning. I knew that Poison would become the Heirophant and everything, but I still totally adored it! And the Spider queen really kicked ass, lol.
That, and I'm a huge cat lover, and Chris wrote about Anderson just perfectly! Anyone who has owned a cat knows what I mean...my cat is a lot like Anderson, and I get the same looks he was giving to everyone else! That was one of the best parts, IMO, lol.

I found that I knew the end of Poison before the end, however, it needed to be read for it to actually have such a big impact. It was along the lines of, "I know the end, but it's so good, it needs to be read".

I adored how the book was finished. I realized that she would be the next Heirophant rather early, but that's what I love about guessing at endings...you are in total suspence until you know without a doubt that you are right!
The cat and his owner were my favorite characters, I do believe ;D

Oh, i LOVED the ending! It totally left me in a state of satisfaction. I knew about the Hierophant thing too, a little early, but oh well. It was such a great book, that didn't really matter. It made just as much of an impact.

Yes, Anderson and Peppercorn were great. I usually hate characters like Peppercorn, but I really liked her this time. Heh, I need to find the pics of the Poison family I made for the Sims...and for Alaizabel, lol.

Only Poison's universe, unless Chris Wooding is the actual Hierophant, (though I suppose technically he was for that universe).
