Hi everyone! I'm Chrono another huge Chris Wooding fan. I first found out about Chris Wooding in 97-00 when I was on a trip. I was looking around a bookstore and I saw the first BS book. I thought it looked really cool/good so I bought it and read it in one day. After that I kept an eye out for the rest of them at my local bookstore, but never saw them (I live in a small town in the US, and the bookstore doesn't have a great selection really). A few years later I got the sixth book for Easter one year. I was quite interested in it, but I didn't read it because I wanted to read them in order and pretty much knew I'd have no idea of what's going on. Then that year (I believe) I got the entire set for Christmas and read it in one week flat. I just absolutely loved the series and I've been a fan ever since. In 04 or 05 I found Poison and read it in one night. It was another wonderful book with a nice bit of creepiness in it and was very well written. I've been on the lookout for other books by Chris since then, but never had much luck. Now that I'm starting to order books online though I'm sure I'll be ordering more of his books soon so I can read more books by one of my all time favorite authors.
Anyways here's more about me. I'm 20 and I'm currently going to school for an Associates Degree in animation. I will probably transfer elsewhere to finish a Bachelor's Degree after I finish I disagreeociates. I love anime and watch a ton. A few of my favorites are Chrono Crusade, R.O.D the TV, Last Exile, Gunslinger Girl, and Full Metal Alchemist. I also read constantly and almost never go anywhere without taking a book. A few of my current favorite authors (besides Chris of course) are Diane Duane and Tamora Pierce. I found this place through Chris's website and I've been visiting it every few days for the last few weeks. I've been enjoying it a lot and I know I'll have a lot of fun. Good to be here!

HIYA!!! Yeah, the Bsky books are really hard to get. If it hadn't been for my ex-boyfriend I never would have gotten #3. Despite everything else I still totally love him for this fact.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. Indeed hurrah for Tamora Pierce. Her books are all excellent. I'm currently reading the Immortals quartet, which is especially excellent for animal lovers like myself. Yup, Broken Sky sure is. Now to see about getting myself some more books written by Chris. I might possibly get one from my girlfriend soon. Otherwise I'll order one or two. It's a shame the one copy of The Haunting of Alaizabel Cray they have in my bookstore isn't in good shape. I'd have already gotten it if it was. *takes cake and tea* Yum. Thanks Maliris. *smiles and waves back* People that like Chrono Crusade, yay! I'm hot??? Sorry but I'm taken. XD *sorry had to joke a bit* I really like both the both the anime and manga a ton. I agree with Maliris though the manga was way better. I really liked the ending on the anime. It was sweet, but sad too. Riven, if you loved the ending for the anime you should read the manga. You most likely will love the ending for the manga even more. Thanks again for the warm welcome everyone. I'm sure you'll see me around. Speaking of which... *goes off to make a Chrono Crusade thread*

Hellooooooooooooo! I enjoyed Chrono Crusade as well, but to be honest I forgot almost all of it, eh heh.
*cry* The bookstores around here don't carry Broken Sky AT ALL. I've been dying to read it, but I can't find it anywhere! When's the re-release date for the US? or is there one?

Hello Zemira. That's cool, another Chrono Crusade fan. =)
It's too bad that none of the bookstores carry any of the Broken Sky books. Your best bet would probably to look for them online. I had just taken a look at Barnes and Nobel bookstore and they have all of the series used besides book five... a few of them are a bit pricey though (book seven in particular).
As for release dates in the US, according to Chris's site there's nothing yet. They really need to get released here though.

So... how many of us actually are lucky enough to live in the UK? I sure don't. But at least I'm from a country where we get his books at all.

I live in the UK, in East Anglia, near Cambridge.
It's good from a CW point of view, but it does mean that I'm never online at the same time as most other people because the US is five hours behind me...

I live in Devon, in the UK. On the plus side, nobody else lives in Devon. On the negative side, nobody else lives in Devon. D:

I'm a US resident, obviously. Sadly too...I'd much rather have the British versions of the books at my bookstores. But alas and alack, they are all American-ized

Haha... how did this turn into where's everyone live thread?
I live here in the US as well. I like where I live okay besides the fact that I live in a small town, which makes it hard to get books in general, not to mention books by British authors (like CW). Plus the town I live in is about three hours away from any big city that has the nice bookstores.
