and there are three maps in the beginning, but they are all of saramyr and west saramyr. am i blind/being stupid or is there no map of this new continent called "okhamba," and these new lands of the "theocracy" or whatever??

There isn't one, at least not in my version of The Skein of Lament, however, there isn't a large amount of action that happens in those places, it's largely based in Saramyr.

Yup, what Valca said. Immense tracts of Okhamba are uncharted and civilisation (well, civilisation as we know it) only exists in little pockets on the coasts because of the impenetrable and insanely dangerous jungle that covers most of the continent. So a map of that continent would be pointless. It'd just be lots of trees There's not a map of Quraal because (SPOILER SO MINOR IT'S NOT EVEN WORTH WORRYING ABOUT) nobody goes there at any point in the trilogy

nobody goes there at any point in the trilogy THE WRITE A NEW TRILOGY. That entire world is way too good to be left to the imagination of readers!

That entire world is way too good to be left to the imagination of readers! That, and it means another book from Chris! We can't lose!

I wouldn't mind seeing more Okhamba...and Quraal...and just more of Chris Wooding books in general. ^_^ I won't be picky~.

I actually prefer to have no map and less info about Okhamba. I've always imagined all sorts of things roaming the jungles. Having a book would smear the beautiful images in my head.
