granted i havent read Bsky yet, but, even if i have read Bsky i think i would like the Braided path better. it was simply amazing. Avun always had me shocked. and Muraki's was even more shocking. Above all was the action. and how EVERthing was related ;D it was a pleasure to read all around... (now for da dark period of time when theres no CW books to read... )

I would have to agree! The BEST! I hope Chris decided to start another Trilogy of "adult" books within the next decade.

Shadowslayer: when you're perfect at spelling then you can insult other people's mistakes.
I loved TBP. As you said, everything linked together and made sense in the end. There was also that edge of fatality. So many people died I was never sure if the characters would survive this battle, or that journey. It made it way more realistic and damn gripping.

I could be all philosophical and say that everyone died in some way, which I believe to be true. And, I think because of this, I was able to relate to the characters better. We're definitely not going through the same trials, but death is all around us and in a way it makes us all alike, because we know it's gonna happen one way or another.

I would have to agree! The BEST! I hope Chris decided to start another Trilogy of "adult" books within the next decade. You're in luck then! Yes! Finally my new book has a title! Unless it gets changed later But for the moment at least, the newie adult book is called The Ace Of Skulls, and the series is called Tales of The Ketty Jay. And if that sounds a little more, well, piraty than my usual fare, then you're possibly on the right track... or possibly not *disappears in a mysterious cloud of sparkling dust* Should be coming out next summer. Not necessarily a triology, but adult, and a series of books. ;D

Nope, he's been doing more adult stuff as of late. I still can't wait... At least it's only a few months till Malice and then only a few months after Malice till Ketty Jay.

I can't wait! XD I wonder how "piraty" it'll be.
On a semi-side note, does anyone know of any books that are similar to The Braided Path?

It's only a passing sort of similarity but the Night Angel series by Brent Weeks feels very Braided Pathy and they're absolutely wonderful in their own way too ^_^
