I'm not asking for too many spoilers, but...I read something and it has had me jumping and just about screaming for a half-hour. Anderson. Am I right in what I'm thinking, about a certain Anderson from a certain other Chris Wooding book? Oooooh, I hope so....I'm not even sure if I want to know now, lol. I won't be able to finish the book tonight, and I won't be able to read it again until tomorrow at 3 pm, which is 19 hours from now. But needless to say, I'm totally jazzed and freaked at the same time, lol. ;D ;D ;D ---------------------------------------------------------------------- EDIT: So I just finished. Nothing to prove I'm right, and doubt entered my mind, especially when I first noticed that Andersen in MALICE is spelled differently. Totally didn't notice that at first. Then my whole theory and excitement was just for reading too fast, lol. But I'm going to keep hoping, until the end is reached. But I am eager to discuss the book with everyone who's read it. ^_^ EDIT AGAIN!: Argh, so I was wrong the second time. It had totally slipped my mind that Chris had mentioned a familiar face in MALICE and then I just re-checked Poison, and there it was, a black tom named Andersen. So I guess I solved my own mystery. ;D But I'm hoping he'll play a nice big part in HAVOC and the future books.

I didn't realise it had a sequel DDD8< I was getting to the end and starting to think... the ending is going to be rushed... better hurry up... OMFG what if it's a cliff-hanger ending... AAAUUUUGGHHHH WHAT THE -- WHAT HAPPENS IN THE END -- I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS TEEELLLLL MEEEEEEEEEEE
But yeah. As soon as I saw Andersen...
Here's my theory: Poison and Malice are actually set in the same universe-place. Malice is another realm (like the Phaerie realm or Asinastra's spider realm), and the Queen of the Cats is PEPPERCORN (obviously. Poison may have had some hand in this). Andersen helps her/is her partner in crime (or whatever) and he recruited all of these cats (which are like him - at least as clever as a human) to work for her. Poison is still Hierophant but asked Peppercorn to help her deal with Tall Jake because even she isn't all-powerful (before anyone says she is: old Melcheron was murdered, and no one all-powerful can be murdered unless they plan for it themselves, which he didn't).
Because that would just be amazing. Poison, Peppercorn, meet Set, Kady, Justin. -drool drool-
I would die happy if that happened.
I may be forced to write a fanfiction on it. Or persuade someone else to. -twitch twitch-

I'm not sure about Peppercorn or Poison. Mostly because MALICE indicated that the Queen of Cats was a cat herself. The realm idea could work, but I would cut out Peppercorn and Poison, sadly, and just keep Andersen. Maybe he travelled there himself, or maybe all through Poison he was working for the Queen of Cats. But I really like the idea that Poison is recruiting other worlds to help her deal with Jake. And it's not just a sequel. I'm not sure how many parts it'll have total, but more than 2, at least. ^_^ And I'm thinking more than 3. ;D

Flight is going insane! Duck and cover! But yeah, I bet Poison got Peppercorn to send a cat army to help out

NEEEVVVAAAARRRR (isn't Duck and Cover that nuclear bomb advice...?)
I do hope he does turn up again, even if just for a moment. Even if he doesn't speak, he's just... so.

Co-incidences! Shortly after I posted that somebody linked me to the video. I must say it's kind of chilling. I mean, a newspaper can't prevent burns. Neither can ducking under a table save you from a nuke.

Well, paper can absorb alpha radiation... although I'm pretty sure there would be other, more pressing concerns should an atomic bomb land in your neighborhood.
F-r-e-a-k-y coincidence!

Yes, like gamma radiation, which can go through almost anything. I believe 9 feet of solid concrete can stop it. Or was that 9 feet of solid lead?
Edit: Wait, this is not Malice...

Andersen is cool and all, but what i really want is Bram fighting a robot gorilla!
In all seriousness though, I geeked out a little when I saw his name!

Hehehehe, I geeked out a lot. I always liked Andersen. Though seeing anyone from his other books would have made me geek out. But I don't think I would have ever expected Andersen!

YES. I want Bram in this. Give Heirophant-Poison a motive, let her write him into it...
Ah, the geeking out... it was a wonderful moment.
