Aww, he was disappointed in Endgame? I think it's pretty good, if a little sad in places. I still need to read Crashing and Kerosene, but they are tricky to find. I believe it was Endgame...the post-apocalyptic one. He said something about how he was using his book to vent and he didn't like the result. It says it on his website if you read the summary of Endgame and/or Catchman. Ironically, Crashing and Kerosene are easy to find here. They were semi-recently re-released so it's not too difficult to find copies of them. But I've been searching for Catchman in particular for some time now. I found a new copy of Endgame online, but it was close to $100. Crashing and Kerosene combined were $10 when I bought them. So Endgame is a little expensive right now. >_> And I can't even find Catchman online at all. Hehehe, well, we can argue more if you'd like, sake-kun.

Ah, whoops. Pre-apocolyptic. Here's a bit of what Chris says about it on his homepage:
And, I had previously thought it was Endgame Chris was most disappointed in, but it was actually Catchman, which to me sounds more fun than Endgame, lol. But then I like horror books. Here's the quote I'm referring to where Chris says how he feels about it:
Still...I want to read them both very badly. ^_^

I'm suddenly not so interested I tend not to read things set in the real world...

Catchman isn't set in the real world, lol. At least...from the summary it doesn't seem like it. And Endgame is an alternate reality. Which we could argue that any of Chris's books are alternate realities. Though, honestly, I'm much more interested in Catchman because it sounds like it has a nice villain. ^_^ Sounds like more serial-killer goodness. ;D And Endgame just sounds depressing, lol. But I'll buy it to complete my collection if nothing else. ^_^ After all, even Chris has to write something bad at some point.
