*BEWARE THE SPOILERS!*
Yup, last night I finished the third one (I have the trilogy version, each book is the size of 3 of the originals).
And I am pretty much blown away by the whole ordeal, as usual. The whole final fight in Netherfane (I think- I always forget what stuff's called) was just amazing. What happened regarding Takami, it was a lot more satisfying than anything I was expecting. The way he stopped being a 'villain'. And then the person who actually did the act of killing Macaan came as quite a shock too. Didn't see that coming. I actually let out a small laugh of surprise when I read it.
The ending's also so full of promise, with the new world to explore, and the two worlds of Kirin-Taq and the Dominions finally being united. What I am most glad about though, is that Ryushi chose Calica over Aurin (well, Li'ain). She deffinately deserved it (I'm biased, Calica is my favourite character)! I felt so sorry for her most of the time later on, I could relate to her situation quite a lot (unfortunately not the resolution. *sigh*)
tl;dr = WOW!
Ps- I think I'll re-read Storm Chaser now. Love that one. Can't wait for Malice too, I already pre-ordered it! Enjoy my money, Chris ;D

I'm glad you liked the books. I thought all the villain deaths (and "good guy" deaths, too) were sad. A lot of them were such tragic characters that I couldn't help but want them to give Kia a good b*tch-slapping to survive.

Calica needed a good b*tch slapping... I've read that part numerous times and I still don't get why Parakka had Calica come with them into Netherfane, she was completely useless.
Of course, the only trade-off for her is Aurin, and then the whole fight would've been over very quickly.

I remember in the first book, seeing Kia change so much. I felt so mad at her, and mournful at the same time. I still feel sad when I compare Ryushi and Kia's relationship at the very beginning to that at the very end Also, I never really thought about that, Calica coming into Netherfane is completely pointless! Stupid parakka... Well at least it helped Ryushi mentally I guess. One dissapointment for me was that after the Macaan's earing thing, Calica hardly ever uses her powers again. Not even in the saying what somebody else just said sense. I liked that aspect of her, it was funny and cute. EDIT: But why would she need a b*tch-slap?

EDIT: But why would she need a b*tch-slap? Because I don't like her, and all she does is whinge. I also realised Jedda did nothing either in Netherfane, but I like him more than Calica.

I call discrimination! ^^ The only thing Jedda does is get loved by Kia! And also some really important things earlier on in the book, but by the end he doesn't really do anything. I feel the love interests get neglected. Poor Calica, nobody likes her Except Ryushi I guess... MY 100th POST! YAY I AM A FULL MEMBER NOW! *partys* ;D

Kia does, by the end... kinda. Ryushi was better off with Aurin.

But Aurin betrays and helps destroy Macaan, not to mention her betrayal crushing him emotionally, why would you want her to get the happy ending if Macaan is your favourite?

That's true. Aurin didn't exactly exhibit your standard daughterly behaviour...

Because I still like Aurin better than Calica, who shouldn't have had Ryushi in the end.

I'm gonna have to agree to disagree with you there. Because I still like Calica better than Aurin, who didn't get Ryushi in the end, because Calica deserved him. She knew him for longer and therefore had dibs XD.
(Don't take me too seriously)
