I went there today. It was amazing. It was mainly about Manga and anime, but there was also plenty on games and films too. Does anybody here know of it/have been to it? If not, I'll describe the atmosphere in detail (which is great) I'll go through the highlights later too, but I'm hungry right now

Gnah! You lucky person. XD Is it big? Is it awesome? I only know German expos which are more like conventions for manga and anime-fans. Even the book fair in Leipzig is slowly swallowed by cosplaying anime-fans.

Yeah it's like that. Mainly a bunch of stalls selling stuff at either reall cheap or really expensive prices. And the cosplayers are everywhere too. In fact I witnessed a guinness world record: Most people dressed up as video game characters in one place. Pretty epic.
Of course you get people cosplaying most everything; not only video game characters, but anime characters, film characters (there was an AMAZING Dath Vader) and so on.
My personal favourite aspect is the millions of people going around with 'Free Hugs!' signs. I made one myself and got roughly 200 hugs in the end!
Nothing beats getting hugged by a cute girl in a gothic dress for no reason at all! haha!

That sounds cool, there really aren't any expos for anime/manga in my city...
I run away from Free Hugs people, but then again, I don't really like hugs.

Wow, sounds neat. I've never heard of it, but I enjoy conventions, mostly to buy things at said really cheap really expensive prices. ^_^

sounds cool
i know you were just doing it for fun but that whole free hugs thing could be pretty creepy. i mean imagine if you went to get you hug and they didn't let go...and then started pulling you towards the nearest exit.
or maybe im just being silly.

Well once somebody didn't let go... Scary. So I tried it and totally freaked some girl out. That was funny. And then there was a BOY dressed as misty. Probably the creepiest thing ever.
Still, the majority of the hug thing wasn't at all creepy. That's the thing about the atmosphere there, so cool.

I want to go! The only convention/expo sort of thing I've been to is Sakura Con. I want to go to a fantasy convention sometime in my life.

Conventions are quite fun if you go there with friends. Helps you to cope with the size of the con and the colourful cosplayers. I mainly go there for the fun and for the Japanese manga. No, I don't speak Japanese and I can only decipher about five katakana signs and about three kanji but some manga just don't make their way to Germany or America. Or if they do it takes time. But as I want to look at the pretty pictures... >_> They have special guests, of course. But they didn't have any one I was really interested in or dying to meet. Lots of Japanese mangaka of manga I don't read. I'd love to go to San Diego's Comic Con... they always have awesome guests.

I hear about this and I want to visit this place. But I am too busy to play online bingo casino so I have no time to go. Because and in spare time, I read online bingo casino information from the site lowdepositcasino.com/low-deposit-casino-games/online-bingo/. Because I want to get in-depth knowledge about the casino, So I keep busy for more time and therefore I am not in a mood to go anywhere. But, In the future, I will try to visit this place.
