I would have darted to the nearest bookstore today, but I wasn't sure if someone had already ordered it for me for my birthday.
I am definitely getting it tomorrow when I'm out with my friends. I'm very excited!

*sigh* No. Amazon is mean and merrily wrote to me this morning that the release-date has been postponed (which is probably rubbish), thus I won´t get my copy till next week. Isn´t this nice?!
...
And I have this eye-twitch again... :E

That's strange...my copy will be arriving today, probably. It was mailed out of the UK on the 17th, day before it was released. Hmmmm....Amazon hates you? How sad! :-(

Amazon seems to be a bit confused. Don´t ask me why. It states that The Fade hasn´t yet been released. Although... maybe there´s a release-date difference between paperback and hardcover? Is there? Amazon says "no" but as I said earlier it seems to be confused. Slightly.
Amazon doesn´t hate me. Well, I hope amazon does not hate me. :_: That would be horrible! How am I supposed to get my Wooding-books?
This is a rather sad day. *graps her tea cup* At least there´s tea.
;_;

Finished it!!
Sorry about the Amazon troubles, that sucks muchly. It is possible that the internet release date and the book-shop one are slightly different.

I am stinkingly lucky in that to get home from college I go right past Waterstones, which always has Chris' new books, without fail. I'm sure you can survive, just read something else 'till you get it. I read Titus Groan to keep my mind off it for most of this week.

Yeah, I started a new book yesterday, but it will be put on hold when I get my book. Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister by Gregory Maguire. I really like his writing, but I haven't read a non-Chris Wooding book since like Nov of last year. >_< So, my brain still hasn't adjusted, lol. But I think this is like the first book I've read where it is written in present tense--a tough feat!

I forgot to get it today! My feet were hurting terribly off my boots when we were walking past Waterstones, so it didn't cross my mind to go in and get it. Luckily I'm going shopping again tomorrow.

I want a non-spoilery one word answer to this question: Was it good (you may elevate this adjective as you wish. Awesome, superb, wonderful, enchanting, and/or completely brilliant would also work)

Gah, I'm scared now. My copy didn't arrive today. >_< I'm worried Amazon did to me what it did to Maliris. But it had told me that it had been shipped out. Gah, I'm worried. I WANNA READ IT!!
