I think instead of leaving it all hang out in General there should be more of a classification. maybe like music where people can review and stuff, and clothes, television w.e.

I think we'd just end up with all those sections only having one or two threads in them, it wouldn't really be worth the seperate categories.

I do not think that is necessary. It´s true that the General Discussion-board is a very frequently used board. But dividing that in under-categories would make it too big. People might get annoyed that they have to click on so many links to get to the thread they wanted to have a look at. Besides, there are not that many users really posting. If all 121 members were posting... well... the boards´d be flooded with posts. But right now, all is nice and clear. 121 members. Wow~! <3 *happy dance*

I still think 121 members is pretty sad... y'know... for an internationally-selling author... :/

121 isn't that bad... the original Broken Sky forum had about 120 members, but managed to rack up something like 49,000 posts.

It is slow-going but sheesh, there are many active members on this board and by now we have ~5600 posts.
I don´t mind that we´re "only" at 122 members (one more, one more!). :>
There´ll be always coming more! ;D *maniacal laughter*

I'm on another forum where there are about 2000 members, and a good 95% of them never post anything anyway. I like that there aren't too many members on here yet. It feels more special somehow.

Yeah, I like that we're quite a small group too. It means we all know each other and it's friendly and less intimidating. It's much easier to voice an opinion when you know that 20 really nice people will be the only ones reading it.

That makes complete sense to me. That's the big reason why I decided to join. It was small and accessible.
Is it illegal to send e-mails to the members who don't visit anymore as a reminder that they joined?

I wouldn't think it's illegal but as someone who's gotten those emails before, it's really, really annoying. If they want to come back and post, they will.

When Chris joined last year, I had sent some of the former-active-but-now-not-so-active members a mail to tell them, hoping that they might come back. XD
They didn´t. Probably didn´t read the mail. But in time, some might return. THEY ALL WILL! (thunderstorm and lightning in background, suspense music kicking in)

Well, until then, we'll just have to keep the forums alive ourselves. ^_^
