You're writing a comic book? That's excellent! So who's doing the artwork, what's it about and who's publishing it? Sorry I'm a huge comic book reader.
2) So far your stand alone fantasies (Alaizabel, Poison, Storm Thief) are my favourites. Funnily enough I would love to see sequels. Not necessarily with the same characters but rather set in the same world. Any plans?

I know I've asked about 50 million Alaizabel questions, but just one more: Is Stitch-Face like Jack the Ripper in that he eats (yuuuuuuum~!) his victims/trophies? That's what I thought when I first read it.

What did you think of 'Good Apollo...' compared to their first two? Do you think that CoCa wont be able to put out a good next cd since the bass player and drummer are basically fill-ins right now and probably aren't up to par with Claudio's extreme genious?

Oh my, I was on looking up some of my favorite books to get for an elementary library that my family has recently become in charge of, and....I stumbled across this.
I suppose that an appropriate question for me to pose would be to ask which of your books you would recommend for children between the ages of 5-13.
I've come to find that this library that I'm working with has a terrible stock of books that would interest the children. When i was their age, I spent a great deal of time in my school library, reading mostly ever book I could get my hands on. Generally it takes a bit more to make a kid read, and so I'm really trying to get some good books on the shelves for them.
I've already ordered the broken sky books, and The Haunting of Alaizabel Cray.

Oh my! Is it really you, Mr. Chris Wooding-- the author of the book I have been so obsessing about?
Oh, I'm so glad. After all these years (1.5 years on my count) of trying to find your contact e-mail and trying to contact you, I've finally found you. Yay!
I forum roleplay in another site and I plan to host a User-Created Fan-based Roleplay based on Broken Sky. My colleagues in RPGC honestly certainly did not have any clue to as what Broken Sky is. But I made a plot based on Broken Sky and they liked YOUR idea of the world. They keep bugging me about when I'm going to set up another one of the Broken Sky fan plots and I keep telling them to go buy your book.
My forum roleplaying is greatly affected by your style of writing and I want to talk with you via AIM or something.
Oh, I'm so lucky today.
Anyway, before anything else, I would just like to ask how that Broken Sky Re-Release was going. I read your website and it said September 2007. I want to be first in line when the books are released. I already bought books 1-7 but they're all damaged due to over-use. I always liked reading your books over and over again.
P.S. And by the way, how do you call the Broken Sky Dimension as a whole. You never really said.
P.P.S. And, can I have an autograph?
Cheers!
You're the best!

I'm back! Sorry for long absence, I spend my whole life in a lack-of-time crisis. Artwork: don't know yet, not been decided. It's a comedy/fantasy thing about demons called Pandemonium. Scholastic are publishing it; it's planned for sometime next year. Not at the mo. I like to create new worlds whenever I start a book, it's more fun for me that way. And with those three books I said what I wanted to say, so doing sequels, well, I'd have to think of something new to say about the same world, if ya get me... At the mo I have an XBox 360, used to be big Playstation fan but they've been lame of late and the PS3 don't look all that fantastic. Nintendo, as usual, have like 2 good games for the Wii, Mario and Zelda, so I won't be bothering with that... but TBH I prefer PCs for games although I don't have one in Spain. Desktop for games (tho see above, too bulky to take with me so I left it at home). But I only ever use a laptop since I came to Madrid. Games live on my XBox 360. Apple (so, y'know, Mac...) Word for Mac. Apple (Mac). Microsoft make stuff that breaks all the time. Like my XBox 360. There is no rage like the rage that follows an hour-long mission ploughing through a mall full of zombies armed with only a lawnmower and the having your XBox overheat and crash 10 yards from the first save point you come to. I think I could actually kill someone afterwards and any jury in the land would say it was Bill Gates' fault. Nope. Did J the R actually eat the bits he cut out of them prostitutes? I never heard that... I thought they've got better with every album and Good Apollo was their best yet. I think the songs might suffer a bit for the loss of the bass player and drummer cos they played such unusual lines... so I think we might not get anything as tricksy as 'Mother May I' (which is one of my faves) but stuff more like 'A Favor House Atlantic' (also one of my faves, but with a much less interesting backing). Like, more guitar-focused, I suppose. Still, what do I know? I think it could be as good as if not better, but it might also not be. We can only wait and see! *waits and sees* HahahahhaHHHHAAAAAHHAHAHURHKKK ;D (that was my evil laugh...) No, but now I think about it, yes I mean, you're the first person who mentioned it but it's possible I filed them away somewhere in my subconscious. I was a big D&D player as a kid but, well, social pressures forced me to quit... life is full of cruel choices like that I barely have time to post on this forum, I think I'd be very very unreliable... Speaking of which, I gotta run now. Will answer more questions later!

hmm, his evil laugh was less evil than imagined... IT IS SO COOL THAT YOU PLAYED D&D!! It makes me so happy!! Seriously, it's good to know even my rolmodels have their "nerdy" habits. Btw, my fighter is near ready to die or retire, so I was planning on running a rogue based off of Whist, nifty eh? Is there any other possible career you could see yourself with?

Oh, am pretty sure that when you actually hear his evil laugh it´s scary.
Reminds me of my PS2 and playing Final Fantasy X. Which froze sometimes. Many times. All the time. Almost... And the PS2 hated the men from FFX, crashing whenever there was a video sequence with either Tidus or Auron! Then it scratched the cd so that ultimately it was impossible to play the game anymore. Which sucked. Lots. °^°
Gawd, I need tea.
