I've been trying to draw Vago, and I was hoping for other's opinion on...well, what he looks like. Chris describes him, but maybe I've got it all wrong~ The book says he has "brown, stringy muscle". Is his skin brownish then? Can you see the muscle and if so can you see the veins and crap and if so how the heck does he keep his organs inside? Is his face humanoid or more catlike, like the rest of his body? What about ears? Is his one mechanical eye an orb or a lens? What's with his mouth? Does he have a nose?
(Pardon me if this should've been in Art instead xD;; )

Gosh... I have no idea. There´s a reason why I never dared to draw some Vago-fanart. *laughes* But really... I guess it´s hellishly difficult to draw this fellow.
But I always imagined him to be ve~ry musceled but also with skin to keep everything inside. ;] And a gray-ish brown. Ve~ry tall and no~ hair. And some metal-plates sticking out of his skin. XD Maybe... just maybe a bit like a Terminator. Not T 1000, though. He was all~ liquid metal.
A bit like... a Gargoyle, maybe?

Tukor... Well, I am pretty sure that he was not pretty. XD
But ve~ry good question! XD I always imagined him stuck in this tank-thingie during his transformation. All green lights and stuff. With no clear view on his face. <,<"

XD He could've been hot XD That would suck, being stuck in a tank. But I kinda like the never quite seeing his face idea...

I was pictured Tukor beautiful, just because it would be all the more pitiful for him to be turned into Vago.

I drew Vago once... Oddly enough, I had always imagined Vago looking like Darigan from Neopets... you would know what I meant if you were infantile like me . If I can find the drawing in my locker I'll scan it and post it here.

Think of Quasi from the old Disney version of 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame' then imagine him looking like a gargoyle, like on that old TV cartoon 'Gargoyles' then put a bunch of machinery all over him to where it looks like one of the characters in the game 'The Legend of Dragoon' in their dragoon form.........that's what I imagine him looking like.

I always imagined Vago looking a bit like a mummy. You know, with his skin sort of brown and stretched and not much of a nose left and tiny, sticking out teeth.

Somehow, I always imagined him looking something like General Grievous in Star Wars III.

Wow, that's a new one, General Grievous? I like him. I luvingly nicknamed him "Uber-Droid with a Hairball" ^_^
I actually didn't really picture him that much. I just imagined a gentle-giant type deal, and totally ignored the machinery and any other descriptions. Except about his eye. That I kept for some reason.

General Grievous? Interesting. General Grievous was funny, you'd think if he was that augmented anyway he could get himself some non-coughing lungs.
For some reason in my head Vago started out smaller than it describes him, I had to really try to change my mental image to get him the right size.

Maybe it's because he hunches...?

ha :] i've drawn vago many many times. reading the book, i could never picture in my head what he looked like from the descriptions chris used, so i drew him out...
his nose was long and it stuck out kind of like a shark, i think, and chris wooding said his posture looked like a cat standing on its hind legs. i drew his mechanical eye as a big, black orb in the midst of metal slabs masking half his face. he's kind of long and slender, but still had muscular arms. thin muscles, i pictured. his skin kinda seemed like it would be a leathery greenish-brown. and he had wings. and a dead bird around his neck.
actually throughout the whole book i pictured him of looking like a giant insect-type creature, kind of like the geonosians off star wars, but that wasn't how chris described him.
ha. my imagination is off.
