Thank you all very much! I haven't done a lot of post-able art lately... i've mostly been practicing portraits. Which is fun, because when you mess up they look hilarious. Or else just weird.

As horribly lazy as it may seem, I'm going to copy and paste text from an art thread I made on another forum, because it's already got all the tags and links and stuff. Everything I've already posted here is in it, but some new stuff as well. Landscape/Seascape:Cair Paravel. Pencil, about a week Finhaven. Pencil, about two weeks, quite old Tower. Acrylic on canvas, about 2 months to complete, roughly 19x14" Lighthouse. Ink on paper. Done in about an hour. Moonlit. Pencil, about an hour. Inspired by the work of an artist whose work I saw at an art show in Oxford, Mississippi... his name escapes me at the moment Figures:The Guardian. Pencil, about an hour A Chill Wind. Pencil, about an hour Altus I. Pencil, about an hour Altus II. Pencil, about two hours (yes, most of my figures are just sketches) :[ Altus II, colored and shaded on PC. Program called Pixia. About two weeks to complete. Another Chill Wind. A quick sketch, sequel to our friend from the first Chill Wind Altus III. He's afraid of the poop... immature maybe but w/e, fyi the poop was an afterthought (he had to be jumping away from *something*) Violet. So named because after completion, it occured to me that she was remarkably similar to my imagination of Violet Baudelaire Portrait:Clarity. A self-portrait. Much edited on Pixia as well. About two days to complete. Quite old Walker. My brother. Elizabeth. My sister. Jaylin. A girl at my school Elizabeth F. Another girl at my school, not to be confused with my sister Myself. Another self-portrait. Abstract:Untitled. Acrylic on canvas, roughly 15x19" Geometry. Color pencil, about three weeks to complete Pierced Heart of Darkness. Pencil, about an hour Proginoskes. Pencil, about an hour Comments and criticism appreciated :]

The problem was that the standard forum code (used in vBulletin, etc.) uses quotes in its URL tags, and this one doesn't. I fixed them all, and I apologize for the inconvenience ;p

The tower painting and the abstract stuff are really great.

The landscapes and abstract work are great. I quite liked the portraits, especially the ones of your classmates. Very simple drawings but any more detail to them and it would have ruined the drawings.
Very nice.

I thought it was just my internet being silly at first... I really like all of them, but the tower is definitely my favourite. I love the colours you've used for it.

That's cool, though the lighthouse looks like it's going to fall over and crush the little house, but that's only cause of the slant of the hill.

Are you sure that's your first watercolor? If so, you should totally do some more and have more links.
