I've never really though that something by Chris could turn out badly (well, something published, at least XD). And I've never been let down. Why worry, it'll all be good in the end...

I'm not scared. after reading a lot of Chris books I have perfect trust in him. A big yes for being more experimental, authors who just stick to the same sort of stuff, I soon find that their work gets stagnant. But having to wait a whole year.... At least i will have fade and storm theif to get me through the upcomming months

Hooray, I was right! I'm all happy, for a while there I thought I was even more stupid than I already think I am. I totally agree about the experitmenting, I mean, just look at Eoin Colfer and how many different things he writes, and then look at Meg Cabot and how boring her Princess Diaries series became...

Stephenie Meyer has finished "The Host" and it sounds VERY different.

look at Meg Cabot and how boring her Princess Diaries series became... Yeah, after the third one she was really just angling for more money. Then again, I find all her novels to be quite samey, despite the number of different genres she spans. Sometimes you really have to alter your approach to suit what you're trying to do, as evidenced in the work Chris Wooding (the Master himself ). Not that a writer has to sacrifice their individual style, but not every hero/heroine has to have the same thought processes, particularly those who live a century or two apart (e.g. some of Meg Cabot's heroines)

Oh man, I know. I could line her books up next to each other by major shared plot points. It's always a normal-girl-becomes-famous/special or girl-falls-for-best-friend's-brother or girl-gets-into-romantic-dilemma-with-stupid-male-lead.
I stopped bothering to read any of her books ages ago, the plot's so predictable I could write a book review on her books without even reading them.

I practically drooled on my keyboard reading Chris's "murky details" about Malice, and even more so reading about the competition at the bottom.
It all sounds so incredible. I don't know if I can make it until February!

Wow, two updates within, what? five days, Chris! What gives? Now seriously. Malice sounds like it'll be really brilliant. At least, February isn't as far off as June or October so I can live with that. I am curious about the comic pages. Who is the artist? And a competition! What kind of competition? XD I wanna participate. Oi dear...

Competition! I must participate! Especially for such a great prize! I too am curious as to the identity of the artist, I wonder if it'll be someone I recognise...

Oh yes! These pictures look really great! Love the details. Love the contrast of black and white. This will be really good, Malice. Competition: I just hope it's not about politics in TBP. Because... I cannot remember much of that. Ahemm. (Now, don't get any ideas! D: )

Strangely, I think I'm familiar with his work. I'm sure I recognise the name and the style.
It looks really great, I'm so excited about it! It's a mix of my two most favourite things; Wooding books and comics!

Aiya! That's exciting! Man, I would kill for one of those signed proofs...Guess it's time to review every Wooding book I have, lol. Ah, I need to get ahold of Catchman and Endgame too! Meh!
Oh...and, because I'm annoying...Tall Jake? Not exactly the scariest villian name I've heard, lol. And I'm sad that the names are so normal now, lol.
Nonetheless! I'm super-excited and the artwork looks awesome!!
