Heh, yeah... But I still make lists of possible actors and actresses. Downey Jr... then my brother would so watch that film. He's a fan. <3

Downy Jr is pretty good I think.
It occurs to me that I can't find a SINGLE PERSON who claims to be a Nicholas Cage fan. I mean, why is he famous? He's not even popular.

I like Nicholas Cage. He does better with the intellectual parts, I think. Maybe it's silly, but I think he was awesome in both of the National Treasure movies.

Yeah, I liked those two, as well, and thought he did a good job. (Though I watched the first because of Sean Bean and the second because of Ed Harris. kidding.) Apart from that, I'd cast Stana Katic as Cathaline Bennet. I like her.

I'm not sure how he'd act the part, but I always imagined Frey like Viggo Mortensen (like in LotR).

Apart from that, I'd cast Stana Katic as Cathaline Bennet. I like her. Yes yes yes!!! She's perfect for Cathaline! It'll be a little off seeing her without Nathan Fillion, but hey, maybe he'll get cast in too for something.

You watch Castle, too? Aww. Oh, I don't know. He could be some extra or supporting character (don't really know who Fillion would be of the main cast...) My cast would look like this: Imogen Poots - Alaizabel Cray Stana Katic - Cathaline Bennet Michael Landes - Ezrael Carver As for Thaniel: no idea. xD

Haha, join the club. I only know the excessively famous people. I've never had a head for film-stars.
I do look these people up in Google image though. Interesting to see what others picture people as.

*had a brilliant idea the other day* Nathan Fillion -> Stitch-face? His voice is perfectamundo, and he's already dealt with the murder stories.
Beyond Stitch-face the options are unattractive... Mammon Pyke, Curien Blake, Lord Crott... Armand is out of the question... I mean, I think that Robert Downey Jr. would be great for Carver, and after that there are very few options for Nathan.

Sadly, this thread doesn't seem to be getting any more love. It's been a while since I've heard anything up-to-date on the movie. If Chris or anyone could answer this, have there been any relatively new updates on the situation? The fact that this may not be happening is depressing as hell.

Hey and welcome. Alaizabel has just been optioned by Trademark Films, after possibly the most lengthy contract process in all of human history - www.trademarkfilms.co.uk/ - which basically means the process is back to square one, but that's much better than not being on the board at all I suspect they'll want to use their own writer, for copyright reasons (ie in case I use something from one of my previous scripts which are owned by Nelvana) so I doubt I'll be allowed to write on it. It'll take a long time, folks, if it happens at all. My advice is to kick back with a cup of cocoa and do something else for a while

Well, that's good news, even if it doesn't have an outstanding chance of production. Thanks for the quick reply.
