That's great news - this means that I can give Poison to other people as a present... if the translation is any good - I'll have to check that I wondered what they'd do with (for example) her name if they ever... ah...

Yes, especially that one scene in the book when Snapdragon screams: "You´re poison to this family! Poison!" And so, Poison she became."D: I am really curious about that. I wouldn´t have minded to read a book named "Gift". Not in this case. It has too much meaning for, well, the whole book... <.<" It´s probably as people are used to English names. I mean, some parents call their kids Summer or Hope or something like that. :[] Maybe they didn´t want to have a main character whose name is Gift. XD ... and what about Peppercorn?

That's great! I've been forgetting all my German since leaving 6th form, I can get this and practice it again!

It´d have an "ö" in it! [Did they? I don´t know, cannot find the book in my local bookshop.] EDIT: If anyone´s interested, I found a read excerpt for it. Link: www.patmos.de/news/KIBU_VS_F08_KiJuBu.pdfIt´s on page 22. The translation seems to be fine! Happy-dance! Maybe I should buy it...
