...I don't know why I thought I wouldn't love this book. @__@(Well, it might've been that the name 'Poison' is a little silly sounding at first) But God I love this fooking book <3333
...that is all XD;;

Funny thing is, when I had just become a Wooding-fan I never took in consideration to buy Poison. I knew it was one of his works but I never thought about buying it. Well, truth be told, during that time I hadn´t been certain that I would turn into... well, a real fan. A fan that´d buy everything his name´s written on [which reminds me... amazon still hasn´t sent "Otherwise"!]. Thanks to Wollschaf I read Poison and bought it soon afterwards. It´s such a nice twisted fairy-tale~ And I love such stuff...
A movie´d be interesting. Tim Burton should be the director. XD

How very odd. I picked up Poison very quickly, on the other hand, by the time it had been released, I'd already begun lurking around Chris' site (I think), and had been a fan for longer.

Well, yeah. I had bought Alaizabel Cray and knew I wanted more of his books. So I ordered Broken Sky and Weavers which had been published the same year (2003). And then I bought Poison and his other works. One huge pile of books, mind you. xD It was such a big parcel...

maliris.de/images/myprecious.jpgXDD Edit: I guess I´ll buy the new Broken Sky books when they´re published. You know, the three books-version instead of the nine-books-version. I know. I already own them. But the hell! I´m a fan. I don´t have to explain my behaviour.

In reply to your edit, I see you've already got two version of Alaizabel Cray as it is. I think I'll be sticking to my one version (though Broken Sky is an exception as my brother owns those, not me).

:> I had bought the second Alaizabel Cray in London. I couldn´t just leave this city without buying it. And anyway, there were nice pictures!

I probably will too.
ZOMG! the original cases for Bsky are SO FRIGGING COOL! I actually thought I'd look into his real-world stuff last, but I just wanted some Wooding so bad I went into 'em, I loved Kerosene. then I read Alaizabel and gobbled up poison once it was out...and then my literature course started, and that's all I ever read anymore...*sob*

A movie´d be interesting. Tim Burton should be the director. XD :> Tim Burton would be a fantastic choice for a director if there ever was a film made. Poison was the first of Chris's books that I read, and I picked it up mainly because it sounded strange, but also because the character of Poison interested me greatly. I'd always assumed fantasy to be more of a boy's genre and so finding a book written with a female lead character (moreover, a strong female lead character) made me do a happy dance inside. Plus I thought Poison was a pretty cool name.

I picked it up because of the title and the cover art, which was just a face. I simply love it. The style, the word choice, the characters, the wow! :] Poison is just a spifftastic book. :] Personally, I wouldn't care if Wooding did drugs in order to think of the ideas for the story!

The girl on the cover representing Poison looks insomiac, which is probally what drew me to the book (that and it was shining under the light of Boarders... 0.o...) Ja ever notice how Poison's original name is a deadly plant?

Oh please, you'd have to ingest a LOT of foxglove for it to kill you, but yes I did find it amusing that her child-name was also a poison.

That's interesting! Yeah, Tim Burton should DEFINITELY be the director. Definitely. If they were to make a movie out of it and NOT have him direct it, I would sue. ;D
