Okay, there's still a few hours to go where I am, but I know it's Christmas elsewhere in the world, and most people won't read this until later anyway so... MERRY CHRISTMAS!!Hope everybody has a good time! And to those who don't celebrate Christmas, I wish you Happy Holidays, and maybe you could tell us what you celebrate this time of year because I love hearing about all of the different religious festivals.

Lol I stayed as far away from church as I can... my family kind of got banned from our local church. Too many perverted prayers and leaving in the middle of mass one too many times.

Can't wait for New Year's Day! I still need to decide between going to my friend's New Year's sleepover, or staying home and spending the night watching DVDs and drinking Baileys in my room...

It should be illegal to be banned from a church for something like that. Kicking people out for those reasons is the same thing as judging people and that's not what anyone should be doing. Especially people of religious stature......*rant over* I don't have any plans for New Years. I'm lame or something.

Merry belated Christmas and happy early new year. I'll almost certainly be babysitting, people assume that all 18-year-olds are going to wild parties on new year's eve so they pay me shedloads of cash to babysit. Ironically, I'm the one teenager in the village who doesn't go anywhere! I know the Jews celebrate Hanukkah starting on... December 22nd? I think the miracle they're remembering is something about a holy lamp burning for 7 days on only a day's worth of oil. Which if you think about it is more impressive than the birth of Jesus, since the word for 'virgin' and 'young woman' is the same in the language the New Testament was found in.
