We have to wait for so many American-authored books that getting Chris Wooding books earlier only makes us even.

Here's a question:
How do you know so much stuff? About fighting and airships and the layout of prisons u___u do you research everything beforehand? I mean, your fight scenes are all very realistic to me who wouldn't have a clue what to do in any sort of fight but are they professional-realistic? And if so, how can you know what'd be a good move? Likewise with your ships and stuff in Retribution Falls.

i've recently gotten into live video chats (like ustream), have you ever thought of doing a live video chat for your fans?
add-on: i've just started reading the weaver of saramyr (love it by the way) and noticed the map in the beginning, it got me wondering, when you make a fantasy world do you draw out a map of the area the story takes place as a writing tool or do you just write and make the map based on where the story?

I go to your old school (and live in Hathern). The school in Kerosene feels and looks quite... relatable. Can you shed any light on this? Was there a specific school that you based it on?

I JUST finished reading Silver. What an adrenaline ride! Now I'm looking for the sequel, I'm hoping the author believes in those.
I'm also looking for the book to become a movie. A well-done and well-funded Hollywood movie. Or a similarly well-funded HBO or Showtime series. Think of the possibilities. Maze Runner move over!
From a Language Arts teacher who loves apocalyptic stories. ;D
