Aha, sneaky. ^_^ That's nice of you to protect a mutual friend though. I know several people who wouldn't be that kind.

Ah, I'd like to pretend I'm wise and wonderful, but actually I'd made that very mistake once before already. A girl called Sarah Robertson and I made no attempt to hide our mutual dislike and it was awful because we had all the same friends and of course once you start being openly mean to someone you can't stop again unless one of you is willing to apologise so you can make up. This time I realised it would be better to stick it out than to go through that again, it was so tiring having to be coldly civil to Sarah R all the time...

Well, at least you learned. High school (or the equivalent in the UK) is always full of fun things like that. Ugh.

It's called secondary school over here, but it only goes on 'til you're 16, then you don't have to go to school anymore. Lots of people go to do two more years in 6th form though.

Wow, that kinda sucks. I'd hate having to pull all the dandelions up...yuck. Our yard is covered in them...

It is pretty horrible work, but dad underestimated the number of dandelions so I got a lot of money for it.

P.P.S. I just realised that for that to make sense you'll have to have read the Black magician trilogy (I can't recommend it personally, the ending stinks) but suffice it to say Akkarin is pretty much the villain of the first book.

teehee, villians with nice cheekbones, funtimes.
and I weed my walk-way but we justlet the dandylions grow (without them our yard would be mostly dirt)

Mmmm, villians. ^_^ Why are the villians always the prettiest people? It's not really fair. But they're so much more fun to love.

Well there were some pretty heroes too in this book, but their personalities weren't nearly as cool. Plus Akkarin has that whole underlying-trauma thing going and we all know there's nothing cuter than a villain who's... damaged.
