Well, after three email addresses, a couple of hours and lots of despair, I'm finally here. Yay for me! I don't know why I often have all this trouble logging in to somewhere, I guess bad luck must be out to get me So here I am, I just joined the forum of one of the best authors ever! Yay! I'm happy now! I am Froggie. That has been my nickname for many years now and will be for many to come. I don't know where it came from but I like it! I also like anime and manga and frogs and reading and playing the sims 2 and being a ninja. I live in the depressing part of England and am currently writing my own book which will never go anywhere, but never mind. Well, I hope to meet lots of nice new people here and I hope you are all friendly and welcome me! See ya around!

Hey froggie nice to see a new member Welcome. I can relate to how hard it was to sign up, (stupid aol wouldn't let me. I'm sure aol secretly wants to eat the Internet) so its good that you have arrived. As for your book, well creating art is its own reward

Thank you very much for the welcomes and the tea! It's good to see such friendly people, sometimes people don't like newbies very much on forums, so I'm glad to see all you guys!

Hi! Yeah, I'm a bit late too. >_< But...only like by a day...that's not too bad, is it?
Welcome! Have a cheese and sausage platter! Yum! *hands out cheese and sausage platter* This party dish is so underappreciated.

*nicks sausages from the platter*
It is indeed an underappreciated dish. You know what else is under-appreciated? Cookie dough! *hands round bowl of uncooked dough*

You're a vegetarian? How come? (I don't know many so it interrests me.) Do you eat fish, or no animals at all?

I was a vegetarian briefly. I would still be one, but since I'm so short, it was unhealthy. I lost like 20 lbs within a month of becoming one, and I was less than 100 lbs for quite a while. >_< Someday, I'd like to be one again.
I didn't eat fish, or eggs, but I did eat bread and things that had eggs in them, so I wasn't a complete vegan. I also ate dairy products. My mom hated it when I told her, and she was ticked off at me for a looooong time, until I stopped. >_< But I'm planning on being on for the rest of my life, once I can better manage my nutrition.
(sorry, I know that question wasn't meant for me, but I figured you were curious, so there's another opinion)

How come you didn't eat eggs, if you did eat things containing eggs?
Oh, and why was your mum ticked off about it? My only vegetarian friend had the same reason for giving it up; she kept getting ill and not being able to fight it off because she just couldn't balance her nutrition without meat.

My mom was upset because I was still living with her and she liked to cook. Apparently she had the 50's Perfect Mom mentality, in that she has to serve her family steak and potatoes and other such things to be a good mom. So, she was mad that I didn't eat the meat anymore.
As for the eggs, that was partly compromise, partly hypocrisy. I compromised that I would not eat eggs like scrambled or omlettes or whatever, but for my health, I needed the foods that contained eggs, like the grain in bread.
