No, they're not out yet or anything, but I just wanted to say that I wish they'd republish them in nine-book format and not three-book. I just don't like the big books >_< They rip and there's not as many pictures and all of the things smash together. With books 1-6 (which I got in six books) I had more of a sense of time. I understood it better and remembered better and it just wasnt so rushed. Then with books 7-9 (which was really just book 7 to me), everything seemed to happen at once. I seriously think I would've liked it better if it was in three books. >< You guys talk about book 9 being just the end battle, but for me...well, it didn't seem that way to me. And it makes me cry. And my book 7 keeps ripping. And there's not as many colored pictures.

Well, maybe they include the pictures in the new versions. I mean, it was designed this way...
Or~ they give us some new, awesome artwork! That´d be cool.
And the fans´d like it!

New artwork?
That would be great. The original pieces did add another depth to the story, but new ones...? -drool-
Aha. I can't wait for them to be re-released. I can't find volumes 3, 4, or 8 unless I pay to search the whole country for them. >>

Oooh, I really hope they put new artwork in too, that would be shiny *_* (And it would give those among us who can draw more source material, yays! Okay, so I can't personally draw, but I'd have more images to show my friends who can when I ask them for fanart! XD)
(>_< yes, I got distracted by this post before I could leave, anyone who saw my post of the favourite character poll >_< I'm leaving now, but I'll be back soon! Sorry for being gone for so long! >_<)

Why is Wooding actually putting out new-old books after 8 years?

I'm not putting them out, the publishers are And the reason is because BSky has been out of print and virtually impossible to get for a good few years now, at least in the UK, and it always bugged me that while books like Kerosene and Crashing were getting re-released (which I didn't like half as much) Broken Sky had disappeared from the bookshelves. Also, since Malice isn't out till next year, it's a convenient time to release them. Basically there's a whole bunch of kids who've never even heard of Broken Sky and who've never had the opportunity to read it. Makes me weep, yes it does. Also, when BSky first came out I was a total unknown, but now I have a lot more readers than I did back then *group hug to all* and so at last they can get their hands on what I consider as one of my favourite works. Those of you that have already read it, well, you've got The Fade to tide you over in October It's just the way publishing goes. If you don't re-release and re-jacket a book every few years or so (unless it was a massive bestseller) it disappears from the bookshelves to make way for newer books.

Not that we're not all looking forward to The Fade, but screw October, I'm buying the new releases of BSky anyway. Admittedly that's mostly because I have both the other versions and they're both falling apart.
Are you going to use the existing covers, or is there new cover art?

Yay! Nice one! ;D Let's see if this works... Note spooky new sub-heading. People got freaked by the idea of Part 1, Part 2 etc after the heinous confusion caused by different formats in different countries (like with the UK/US). Interior art will all be the same.

That's very cool! Kia looks much happier than on the tiny first one... As for heinous confusion, serves 'em right for not recognising the greatness first time round. Now they have to miss out on the ferociously cool covers of the 9 tiny books in the original format.
I wanted to illustrate it... *cries* but this is equally cool. Is it the same people who did the new(ish) Alaizabel cover?

But the picture isn´t working! ;_; It does now. And I dunno why it did not work back then. ._. Anyway
<3
I am definitely buying them when they´re released. I just have to... >_>"
°w°~
Aww, yes! Imagine, doing artwork for your favourite books... that´d be too much awesome to handle. ._. Maybe one day. ;]

So very, very prettiful...
I doubt I'll get them though, I don't see the point in having two copies of a book you already have access too (Bible doesn't count, too easy to forget when you need 'em if you've only got one).
Still, I hope it'll sell well.

That's usually true... I didn't get the re-release of Alaizabel or Poison, but all my BSky books are falling to pieces so I'm crazy about it being re-formatted.
How many Bibles do you have? I have three that are actually mine, but we have more like twelve all over the house.
